I'm glad I'm not the only one! I've been disconnected so many times this week it's unreal. All my other games I play I don't have this problem. I have two xbox1s and they both get disconnected at different times and there's no set pattern. I'm sick of it especially when I was soloing the nightfall strike and it kicks me out right at the end Grrrr. I turned it off in the end.

It's usually in the later afternoon or early night. Lately, it's been not signing on the first time and then after giving me the centipede error (sometimes more than once) it usually works. I'm on X1, and have Comcast with a good download speed Edit: I've also been having lag and chat issues considerably more often now since the 1.1.1 update, even the companion app is not working smoothly (right now it's not) which leads me to believe it's Bungie's servers

  • It's a straight connection to the modem. It's the TC8305C modem from Comcast

  • That model just doesn't play well with Destiny one bit so I'm not sure even if it were a direct wire to it would improve things.

  • What model does? This ones been great until just here recently. I have an average download speed of 56-60mbps is that not enough?

  • That one. I thought the same thing of it back in October. Figured out by November, not as amazing as I thought. Back around that time, there where a [i]lot[/i] of threads of being bumped off of live/psn while playing Destiny. Had those issues myself back then along with a friend of mine and someone else a different bud knew. Worked well enough before the late October patch.. It's due to faulty firmware in the model itself which, in a different thread a bit back on a similar issue, someone found out after questioning an employee when switching the models out.

  • Well most people that had issues with that model just got it switched for the Arris one from them. You'd think there would be a list of supported models..but nope.
