DBZ has never been one of my favourites, but I still think that show has achieved something no other ever has. DBZ could literally tell the story of Vegita taking 3 footsteps, and they would do it with such epic flare that I would be sitting on the edge of my seat for entire tale of three steps, then be desperate to know about the fourth. haha

That's how i feel about it, if anything it's the nostalgia factor that gets you. In my my if you never once attempted a Kamehameha as a kid you had no childhood. Also it doesn't help that it was my first anime

I hear you on that. My first "proper" (not including transformers) anime was "Ninja Scroll" and I still think its a top 10 anime. haha, I remember my older sister handing me this VHS copy of it (written in pen with other movie names scratched out) and saying I should watch this show because its a cartoon, but its a crazy weird japanese cartoon! With "like" blood and sex and stuff. lol.
