You overestimate the play space of any Halo game, they were pretty small. Not saying I don't want more out of Destiny but Halo wasn't everything nostalgia is telling you it was.

Edited by Jubei2010: 3/2/2015 8:41:06 PMJust like a map has scale so to does destiny. The length of one sparrow equals a mile. See? There are thousands of square miles of terrain and all of it explorable. It is all about the spin Bungie wishes to put on it. Why do you think they touted that pre launch? They neglected to display the distance scaling is all. Worked out for them though.

JESUS SEGWAY-RIDING CHRIST! MY TITAN IS A MILE TALL???

K and we are all giants too. Please don't defend there clever lack of map size. Maps are small and they use optical illusions to male them seem bigger

Edited by : ^ ): 3/2/2015 9:57:21 PMCompanies do the scaling thing all the time. Battlefield is a prime example. In reality their maps aren't that big, but when playing they feel massive due to the way they scale everything.
-
Not saying your wrong but have you ever tried to run across an entire battlefield Map? Haha
-
It's not that hard... Some maps like Golmud are quite large, but maps like Rogue aren't hard to get from objective to objective on foot. Especially since they throw jeeps and tanks are like they are candy.

There is nothing about this game other than its premise that can be defended in any way shape or form.

I am defending nothing. Obviously you lack the ability to perceive sarcasm. Oh well you missed the joke.
