Only one that seemed legit was the fact that the DLC was more expensive in Europe
English
-
You don't know much about global economy then. Almost everything you buy in Europe that's available or from the US is more expensive. Movies, video games, software, cell phones and even clothing are all more expensive abroad than in the US.
-
Your right I don't. But it's not like we have to ship it over to them or something
-
Yes they ship them to them. They also have import taxes and you have to factor the exchange rate (value of the US dollar vs the Pound). All of this equals to higher prices. Another good example is gas prices. Here in the US gas could be around $2.84 per gallon whereas in Europe it could range from $6.85 to $8 per gallon.
-
Downloads have no import fees. We're buying a download, and import fees in no way justify almost double the cost for us here in England.
-
Double? In Pounds how much are they charging?
-
Season pass was £35 or $35. £35 is more like $53 so not quite double but still a rip off.
-
What you have said has literally nothing to do with the prices. The game is manufactured here as well. Oil is bought at different rates and buyers by each country who receive different rates. The price of fuel is affect by a number of factors, the majority of it being down to taxation and the price per barrel for the year prior. We pay more tax in the UK because our tax funds more public services where most of yours are privatised.
-
The point was to explain that even though we (consumers) are buying identical items that prices can vary globally.
