Hate to say it, but neither Bungie nor Activision care what we PVE players say. If PVP players whine and complain ("MLG" players more so) they get what they want... Halo is a perfect example, MLG players whine that the Magnum in Halo: Combat Evolved is OP, it gets taken out in Halo 2. MLG players bitch and moan that Dual Wield on Needlers is too OP in Halo 2, it is taken out in Halo 3. MLG complaints roll in again that Dual Wielding in general is OP, Halo Reach and/or Halo 3: ODST gets no Dual Wield at all and Reach gets Abilities. No matter what, if PVP, or MLG players complain, the game company comes crawling with what they want. PVE players are nothing to the game companies now. If we wanted our voices heard, we would have to travel to an alternate universe.

Edited by Strohseph: 3/1/2015 10:57:59 PMSo-called 'MLG Players' you're referring to didn't say 'magnum/pistol is OP in Halo:CE'... It was the preferred weapon of skill and is revered in the MLG Halo community. Get your facts straight first, please. Edit: Also, the MLG fan base accounts for less than 1% of halo gamers, and they RARELY get/got what they wanted and only did so after much petition and patience.

The reason there was no dual weilding in reach and odst was because it happened before the events of halo. Duh.

What do you mean by MLG? I've seen people use that before, but I have no clue what it means.

Major League Gaming

Welcome to the internet, how tough are you?

Is that what MLG means or you trying to call me an internet tough guy?
It's a Spongebob Joke.
Ha ha, wow, I've been too old for Spongebob since it launched. That hasn't stopped me from watching it time to time, but I've never heard that one before.
