"Halo" Spartan vs "Destiny" Titan ?
Who would win and army of Titans or an army of Spartans ?

1 ReplyAfter reading through some of the lore I have come to the conclusion that Spartans will win. Yes, the titans have ghosts to revive them but in an all out battle of attrition a spartan will notice that he's killed the same guy 3 times and he's back up a 4th because of a twinkly light bulb bringing him back and the spartan will start targeting the ghosts. Ghosts are small, yes but when Spartans like Linda [spoiler](sniped 2 guys so fast Master Chief didnt know who was the first to die)[/spoiler] exist the ghosts will start going down like thralls to a stormcaller's super. once the ghosts start getting targeted the battle shifts substantially in the spartans favor because one spartan can test the theory then tell every other spartan over tac-com.

MC John is more grounded in reality compared to Destiny's heroes. He uses Science (f[r]iction). Now, someone should have asked the question: Mjolnir Recon # 54 vs "Halo" (Master Chief).

2 RepliesProblem is, there are three separate types of Spartans in the Halo universe, four if you count the project Orion/Spartan I project. Master Chief was a Spartan II. Their biological augmentation, and armor is the most extensive and powerful of the Spartan programs. Most were around 7 ft tall, could move faster without their armor than a normal human can see, and were ridiculously strong even without their armor. With MJOLNIR armor they weighed about 2000lbs, were faster and stronger, and have the ability to take hits the likes of which would cause a Guardian to wet themselves. Hands down, a Spartan II would eat a Titan for breakfast. A Spartan III would be a fairer match. They had photo-reactive armor that was designed for stealth and minimal damage. Most never lived past 13, and their physical augmentation was less extensive. Personally, I still think they would probably win most fights against Guardians, primarily because one of their augmentations was neurological and basically let them ignore shock and fear in the face of death and fight on. They never ever quit. But some would lose. Spartan IV's would be a little tougher to call. They have better armor than the III's and some augmentations. However, the IV's are a all volunteer force and most of the augmentations were done later in life, so they are not as extensive as the II's, and III's, but due to technological advances at the end of the Covenant war, they have full sets of MJOLNIR armor, which are way more powerful than any armor set a Titan has. Really would depend on the Gaurdians. In the end though, Titans always get ressurected, and Spartans stay dead. So they could keep trying. And they only have to win once for it to matter. Spartans have to win every time. No second chances for them. Sorry for the nerdy answer dude. I think the Spartans would win 96.4375% of the time. Just down right tougher in my opinion.

One master chief could destroy 2 halos and save humanity countless times regardless of what he loss in the battlefield (friends and beloved ones), now imagine an army of Spartans PLUS him. No army of pathetic titans shall be even close to beat them

Titans can't die they can be constantly resurrected and considering how cheap guardians are would just final round master chief to death.

If they are Spartan II's then Spartans all the way. The Spartans in Reach were III's except Gorge and he sacrificed himself, so he wasn't exactly killed by the enemy. I haven't read the books so I don't know of any other Spartan II's, besides Chief of course. But put Master Chief and Gorge in a room of titans, the titans will crumble. Guardians aren't exactly super human. They can just wield the light of the traveler in varying ways. They haven't really been augmented in there physical abilities like Spartans, a titan wouldn't even be able to wear a Spartans armor, as it weighs in at a ton or more.

It really depends on the Spartan. Not all of them have the luck of 117. Go play the Halo: Reach Campaign or read The Fall of Reach and see how many Spartans survive. Don't get me wrong, I think Spartans are better but the vast majority of them were killed in action during the Human-Covenant War. They weren't immortal despite the whole "Spartans never Die, they're only Missing in Action" thing. That being said, I don't think Titans are any stronger than a Spartan. They just have very different skills. Spartans were soldiers, military units. In Destiny though, all Guardians are just dead people brought back to life by a Ghost. They don't have the military training or organization that Spartans do unless it happened in their past life. So army versus army, I give it to the Spartans. But 1 v 1 would be very interesting to say the least.

3 RepliesA titan walks into master chiefs house, he finds him in the living room. The titan says *hey chief, i think im tougher than you*, the chief gives no response. The titan picks up a chair & crushes it with his hands, the chief gives no response. The titan grabs a handful of walnuts, puts them in his buttcrack, flexes & breaks them all open, the chief gives no response. The titan is starting to lose patience, he shoulder charges the wall & leaves a 6 ft hole, the chief still gives no response, The titan at this point is fuming, he goes over to the chief & shouts "will you pls stop poking that damn fire with your dick & pay attention to me". MC as a teen killed 2 ODST in a kick boxing fight, [u]as a teen...[/u] yet you think a guardian that was resurected from the dead will be able to handle an adult MC? Put simply MC would look in the titans general vicinity and the titan would spontainously combust.

3 RepliesA Guardian can be revived by their Ghost. Hard as they are to kill, once a Spartan goes down, that's it. Guardians win by attrition.

Titans but not because of the usual answer. Their access to light gives them a huge advantage, even if Spartans are stronger, faster, more equipped, and more skilled.
