What super takes the most "skill" in PvP

Nova Bomb

704

Radiance

1765

Fist of Havoc

397

Ward or Dawn

973

GoldenGun

3143

Arcblade

596

I wanna see the results

1211

So which of the supers take the most thumb skill to use in PvP? My choice is WoD because it's the only super with no killing ability. What do you think? Comment below so we can get a lot of votes. Edit 1: well the votes say Goldengun but the comments are all saying radiance. Edit 2: out of all the posts that've gotten popular, this is the first to recieve 1000 comments. That's really cool. Poll stands the same: 1. Golden gun (aiming isn't a skill people) 2. Radiance (I can kind of see that) 3. Ward of Dawn (still personally think this one takes the most "skill") and for those who keep saying "none of them take skill." No shut that's what I said which takes the most thumb skill to use. Meaning: which super is the hardest to kill the most people with.

  • I say radiance for those of us that run song of flame instead of fire born. Still fun with heart of the praxic fire.

  • I say ward of dawn mostly cuz its not an instant kill like other supers. I know most people just sit it in and do nothing but using to its best advantage does take some skill. Idk kinda hard to say between them all.

    • I can tell you Fist of Havok with Nova Bomb being a close second are without a doubt the most unbalanced skills in the game. A Titan can propel himself forward where there is no enemy and kill a player to his back. Pretty ridiculous imo.

Golden gun? If that takes "skill" you probably shouldn't be playing a First Person SHOOTER.

        • Voidwalker and FoH are panic supers. Arcblade is mash RB. WoD is pop bubble and stand in it. Fireborn is for butt hurt scrubs that are mad about being killed. Radiant skin allows you to shoot half as effectively as your opponent and still win the gunfight. Song of flame is just heat seeking grenade spam. GG is the only one where you actually have to be both and intelligent about where you use it and have some monochrome of aiming ability. But auto aim pretty much has that covered. TL;DR None require skill.

I would say Radiance simply because it is a difficult one to effectively use. People are pretty much ready for fireborn when they down a sunsinger nowadays, so popping it for self-res is essentially a coin flip whether or not the warlock survives. It also cannot be panicked effectively, for they do not appear to receive as massive a damage reduction when activating it as with other supers (not taking radiant skin into account). Because of these factors, Radiance requires quite a bit of planning and skill to effectively use. Similar logic applies to use of the Golden Gun. The sole reason I selected Radiance over Golden gun is because the Golden Gun is an instant kill, and it has an incredibly-effective aim assist (almost guaranteeing a hit).

          • I'd say Golden Gun and/ or Radiance. Both require a bit of strategy and planning to get the maximum potential out of, and neither is a panic super.

          • Try getting in the middle of 4 guys all shooting at you... Try actually surviving that encounter if you miss a guy or one was out of range... FoH is easy to get 1 kill with! Press Rb and Lb at the same time. Piece of cake... But getting 3-4 kills...? That takes skill, timing, and a little luck! It's the approach that takes skill and intelligence, people. You'd know that if any of you mained Titan. (But none of you do...) Just pissy about the last panic slam! Lol

          • We can all agree that Fist of Havoc takes the least. I'd say using War of Dawn effectively (Not just sitting in a bubble with a shotty) requires the most skill.

              • The thing with radiance is if you do it to early your dead, do it to late and you miss your opportunity to kill the one who killed you... I say radiance. With that said, golden gun is a somewhat difficult super to use efficiently while under stress

                • As a hunter. I say WoD. It literally does not help you get kills. It can give you some buffs, that's it. If you can use it well, I say you're skilled.

                • Radiance. It needs a good build, good gear with appropriate stats, has a long starting animation with limited time and versatility overall and is easily beaten by EVERY other super.

Rooofl Hunters you guys crack me up. Foh is the hardest super to land This is talking about actually landing kills. Not all you trolls saying they are all panic kills. That golden gun winning though. Sad.

                    • The thing about Golden gun is the timing since you can get killed in the animation. Same with radiance if you dont have on overshield

                      • I would base my results on which supers get the least kills (harder to get a good kill spread with). Ward of dawn doesn't count, as it's just bubble popping. Radiance is more or less a grenade/melee version of golden gun, so I would consider that to take more skill than a gun that you just have to point at people. Grenades require timing, and melee's require you to be at shotgun range. If you can get 4 kills with radiance, hats off to ya. Even more difficult would be nova bomb. It's for all intensive purposes, 1 big grenade.trying to get 4 kills with that is very situational I have been shot out of the sky while I'm trying to through it. The most difficult would have to be fist of havoc. Getting 4 kills with that is a miracle. Aside from "death from above", you have to bullrush a group of guardians and not die in the process to get your super to kill them. It's essentially a super melee. By default, that makes blade dance the second easiest, and golden gun the easiest supers to rack up kills with. Golden gun allows you to maintain a safe distance, but you can even 1 shot people at a close distance if needed. Getting at least 1 kill with it is practically guaranteed, so long as you don't suck.

                        • Radiance because you have to actually shoot, melee, and throw stuff to get kills. With all other offensives you just aim and shoot or explode or something.

                            • Nova Bomb: can be used as panic or to "snipe" across the map, if you do the last then it takes some sort of skill. Radiance: ehm... dunno. there are 3 sorts of radiance users. one guy simply uses radiance whenever he gets killed, no matter if there are 3 or 4 guys or a gunslinger or a titan which simply fists him to death again. then theres the guy who only spams fusion grenades and finaly we have the "tank" guy who activates radiance and goes to a capture point and tries to clear out the area. i say the last one takes more skill. Fist of Havoc: same as nova bomb. can be used as panic or smartly to shutdown radiance, wod, gunslingers and arc blade. i personally always safe it unless someone charges at me with a super or heavy. or if im lucky enough to get in the range of 2+ guys. Ward of Dawn: depends. some just pop it up and get killed right away thanks to the other supers. if you want to use wod you need to consider 2 things. do you want it to buff yourself with blessing fo light / weapons of light or do you want to install a fortress? if you want to do the second than i highly suggest to take note and check if your enemys already used their supers. if they didnt then save it, if they did then you can capture a zone. also usefull if someone shoots a rocket at you. i guess it takes some sort of skill, bust most people just sit there and wait for 45 seconds or until someone supers them away. a smart guy uses this to its most potential but for most players its just a "haha, you cant touch me for 45 sec... FUUUU" *fist of havoc*. Golden Gun: dont rly think this needs skill. its a 1hit sniper with better hit detection. i give it that some people are highly skilled with it and kill 2-3 people while jumping but on the average player it simply doesnt take any skill. Arc Blade: yeah. i dont think i need to say something here. 50% dmg reduce and health regen upon kill. TLDR; personally i think radiance and wod take the most skill since you need a bit more tactic to use it with full potential (3+ kills).
