In this regard the factions are just like vanguard and crucible.
Please note that the factions only give crucible recommendations, but you seem to be set on vanguard reccomendations anyway.

Ok thanks. So basically you get the legendary packages with the postmaster in the same way as with vanguard but instead including a crucible commendation instead of vanguard commendation. Just wanted to make sure that you got the same sized drops / types of items as with vanguard. Thanks for the reply.
