Shotgun buff "just right" or "needs adjusting still"? PVE!
So I have been testing out the shotguns after the buff. And boy, they are like whole different weapons! I can actually rely on themin close quaters and hold my ground against enemies with Lightswitch. And they can even decimate Nightfall shields of different elements. Shotguns come off really strong now.
I like it! Gives you a reason to get close and personal. This game has been all about sniping from millions of miles away, but this patch changed shotguns to the right direction. But that's why I feel like they are going to tone down the damage again for shotguns. I just know it.
What do you guys think of the buff? Do you like it? And do you think Bungie should leave shotguns alone now?

1 ReplyShotguns are hella powerful now and i love them. Knowing Bungie however if they're going to nerf them again at least lower damage boost to 60% or 70% compare to the 100% we have now.

The range has always been an issue in PvE for me, it is far, far too short. You can't even get a hit marker outside of ten feet away.

1 ReplyThe range needs to be a little farther. And they could easily have it be an isolated range buff just like the damage buff this last update was isolated to PVE. Other than video games, my other hobby is shooting, and it makes me cringe when ever I see a game company have a shotgun have a maximum range of 10 feet.

Doing ir yut on hard I was rushing knights and trashing them with my sword breaker a couple of teammates just watched and laughed as I destroyed them lol.
