Just because you don't like or enjoy the Crucible doesn't mean it isn't good :/
I play both PvP and PvE a lot. Yes they need to focus on adding some stuff to PvE. But that doesn't mean that improving PvP on the way is distracting them.
I've played CoD since MW2 and have played WaW and CoD 4 also. I like enjoy the Crucible more. Is more epic in many ways.. It lacks game modes and private lobbys, but all of this is coming.. So yeah, Destiny needs more PvE stuff.. But they shouldn't forget about PvP to achieve and bring that stuff u.u

I've played cod since cod 3 bro and if you prefer destiny pvp it's bc you aren't good and prefer supers to kill streaks
-
Lol if you think cod takes skill then I can't take anything you say seriously.
-
neither cod nor destiny take skill but cod is definitely a more developed and skillful pvp experience compared to destiny
-
More developed? Yes...how many years has cod been around? Yeah I'll take the base version of destiny over cods final product everyday of the week
-
considering that both of them suck how about you stop trying to defend pvp when it clearly detracts from pve experience... I have never heard anybody call for a pve nerf
-
There was a post about a guy complaining about CE and wanted it nerfed
-
key word "a" post not never ending slew of suros is op and btw suros is my favorite gun and Pvp cry babies have gotten it nerfed 3 times now
-
I liked suros too, n it was good in pvp but it never seemed to me as op in pvp :/ n there were ghorn nerfs for pve but i believe they were trolls and satire posts
-
That's because pve doesn't effect other people dweeb. It's like someone complaining about not masturbating correctly. PvP talk doesn't hurt the pve experience. They are both great in their own ways. I prefer pve, but also enjoy pvp
-
yeah and us pve players slowly become bored of pve after bullet sponge enemies take even longer to kill and our favorite guns become more and more ineffective
-
Speak for yourself- I have no issues with any of the changes made to the weapons in any patch thus far. If you're getting bored, maybe take a break. I'm still having fun.
-
I love destiny but it's boring having to put even more shots into the same enemies over and over again as my favorite guns become weaker and weaker
-
You can't even notice a difference
-
speak for yourself there is a huge difference in the effectiveness of auto rifles in pve, I use different primaries on all of my characters and it was such a grind with my auto rifle and that has been my favorite gun since day one
-
I just did the raid the other night and used abyss defiant whole way. Didn't have any issues
-
you could go through CE with a pulse rifle pre update too and have no issues but it doesn't mean it's not a grind
-
actually yes it is...grinding insinuates it's hard, or creates issues.
-
okay well that is just completely wrong, we all used to have to grind to farm for mats but that wasn't hard nor did it create issues... I used to have to grind out rock crabs in runescape too
-
a. To crush, pulverize, or reduce to powder by friction, especially by rubbing between two hard surfaces: grind wheat into flour. b. To shape, sharpen, or refine with friction: grind a lens. 2. To rub (two surfaces) together harshly; gnash: grind the teeth. 3. To bear down on harshly; crush. 4. To oppress or weaken gradually or persistently The definition of grind. I win.

I don't think "epic" is the correct word to describe Destiny's PvP, the maps are hamster wheel sized and 6x6 is far from exciting. Epic would be to have 128x128 or 64x64 battle on a cosmodrome size map. But since we can't even have a 32x32 like BF in it, I think we should leave the word "epic" out of this.
-
My interpretation of epic in this argument is close to "awesome" or "incredible". When I say that for ME PvP in Destiny is more epic than CoD is because I personally find it more awesome/rewarding/cool to clear an entired flag being capped by 4+ enemies with your Nova Bomb. To kill a Bladedancer with a shotgun just when hes about to slash you. To headshot someone with praedyth revenge and get an extra kill with the explosion. To shut down a Warlock that just got into Radiance, using your Golden Gun or Fist of Havoc. Is nothing related to skill. It's just about how cool it is to do stuff like that :) And I just find that kind of better, or like i said.. More Epic, than doing trickshots with snipers, or getting a 5+ kill feed with a predator missile, or getting a melee only moab/nuke! Sure, those may require more skill, or luck in any case. But for me they are not that awesome. That's what I meant with Epic ^^
-
CoD had its time, but I like the fact that enemies there are not sponges like in Destiny. On a much smaller scale (battle wise) the PvP on the Last of Us is also incredibly great. But I'm yet to see a console game beat the Battlefield series when it comes to PvP. Large maps where vehicles make sense and have a propose, 32x32 on maps that usually progress during the match, no debacle regarding weapons and classes that actually allow you to approach things differently. Destiny's PvP for me just feels so so, fun but not worthy of any epic adjective.

Pretty sure it's up to the person making the statement to decide what's epic.
-
a retard can bang on the drums all he wants but that doesn't make it music
-
Sure it is.
