I think it should be that you only upgrade the last three damage bubbles and you should work for the damage increase

I think yeah we shoold upgrade our gear but remember they whant you to buy the new dlc. So i was thinking that what they did with the crux of crota should be for any gear or weapon. For example say that i whant my crucible gear to be level cap i'll play crotas end raid to get whatever shard or crux to upgrade my crucible gear that way i have to get the latest dlc but also have whatever weapon/armor i whant.
