Most people seem angry that they replied in broad and generic ways. But I understand them in a sense. They need to make sure we are hooked into what's to come but also that they don't disclose too much information. It's more or less revolving around the answer "keep telling us what you think and wait for the amazing future ahead".

That works, but for a limited time. If the near future holds the answers to all of our questions, and addresses all of our complaints, then we have a reason to look towards the future. But it doesn't, as they have proven before.

Edited by MrBumpy: 2/28/2015 12:33:47 AMAll they are talking about is pvp. All they do is balance for pvp at the expense of pve. Seems like they have given up on even trying to keep pvers engaged with this game. They should just admit they failed at trying to make a game with both elements and just turn this turd into a total pvp game. After all Deej has said he doesn't care about story and from the state of this game it's apparent the Devs don't either.

I partially agree with you. The focus on pvp is for me complete disproportional to the game itself which is largely a pve game. And that has its effects in player experience and mainly, enjoyment. Perhaps they have been involved in halo for so long that they can only focus on pvp. Dunno the answer but I admit it's a weird one.

The problem is quite a few of us pve people and getting burned out and tired of the obfuscation.
-
I admit. I haven't yet tried the vex since 1.1.1 hit the console. The idea that one of my favourite weapons might have been ruined risks ruining my enjoyment of the game. I don't use the vex in high end content unless it's solar burn. Mainly due to the range and low ammo. But it's still my go to weapon for roc strikes and pve in general. If it's ruined so is in part my game experience.
-
The gun no longer fires straight, due to the nerf on fusion rifles.
-
:( dam... I loved that weapon. Let's hope it's not that noticeable.
-
With the number of vague and uninteresting input I get from those I contract with, I'm completely unphased. Perhaps it's just a component of adulthood.
-
But that doesn't work when addressing children. You can't expect people to be unphased, if they haven't experienced this. Whether people do it often or not, refusing to actually answer a question cant very easily be justified. Not in this case.
-
Despite desiring more complete answers and more in depth ones, I think it was naive of us to expect the developers of the game to say much more than simple and vague polite and politically correct answers. I mean, doubt any Dev from another game would reply in this same context much differently.
-
I believe they would. Even the crummiest MMO community managers/moderators don't lie as straightforward as "This is irrelevant post-1.1.1."
-
Atleast they responded. Yeah they answered the questions they wanted but im sure there are restrictions on what they can and cant talk about. At the end of the day, bungie is a business and you go into business to make money. If you dont like the product then dont buy it. The pros outweigh the cons in this game. I admit i have lots of complaints about this game but i still have fun playing it. Pve has alot of glitches however the amount of time and research that goes into finding a way to stop them without affecting other aspects is very difficult. Yes pve is a lil broken but it still works overall.
-
I mean, what kind of answers were you expecting? Dates, numbers? As a programmer myself, that stuff changes a lot. This is more than I've seen Bungie do (ignoring all other developers) since I started here in 2005.
-
I was hoping they wouldn't dodge the tough questions and maybe do some actual follow-up.
-
How bout answers like why do all sparrows look the same or why the story NEEDS to be read online in a grimoire, how bout answers to the loudest community questions, your company is becoming a joke, not you, but your company.
-
What does the Air Force have to do with this?
-
-
Because he doesn't work for Bungie, that's why he said that.
-
Thanks, I thought ninja ment he did
-
Ninja/Mentor tags mean they are community members like me and you, only the Bungie tag means they work for Bungie. Cheers.

Yeah I got that from the other guy thx
