Hi, I think it's great the developers are having this open house discussion. Now that the shotguns have gotten a fantastic PVE boost, I think it's a good time to revisit some of the comments I have seen floating around the forums talking about the use in post-story content where the damage output from the enemies may still leave getting up close and personal a little too risky. Here is an excerpt from a post I made a while back: [b]"I think it would be cool if they made an exotic shotgun where one of the perks gave you a shield (similar to blessing of light) after each kill. There could be a cool down so you couldn't cheese it out with a constant shield - just enough to get in hit a tough enemy hard and get out."[/b] I asking people on the forum to come up with a name. I only got one reply but I thought it would be very fitting - "Borrowed Time" (recommended by N4VYS43L). It would be great to hear about any future plans coming down the pipes.
