A: Something about a door, question mark. [i]Example of a competent answer:[/i] When working on the Hunter's Bladedancer super, we felt that four orbs were ample for the utility we put into the super itself. Let's look at the Voidwalker for a moment. Nova Bomb is a bit of a skill shot and is limited to the direction it was fired in, if you are not a skilled shot then you will miss the super entirely. Then there is the Titian's Fist of Havok. This super has extremely limited range and must be in close proximity to the enemy to be at all effective. Finally you look back at the Hunter's Bladedancer super and it is a lot more flexible and harder to dodge than the others in comparison. For this reason we felt that there needed to be a reduction in orb generation to compensate for the dynamic nature of the Bladedancer's super. But we here at Bungie turn all sorts of knobs to try and level out supers from class to class in the name of balance and we will continue to do so as the game evolves. I hope that has answered your question though.

Clears up a lot. But explain the Sunsingers super? They can move around just as much BD's and can make 8+.

Case and point of what he's saying is that Arc Blade is able to be sustained longer than most supers, and could, if it produced more orbs, end up allowing a near-infinite use loop of it.

What's the point in entertaining questions if you're going to just be a dick with the answer...which isn't even an answer...are you seriously trying to loose your PvE fan base? The real lifeblood of your game? Doing a great job of doing just that so far.

I dont think thats balanced. Knob wise dont you think a blade dancer deserves 8 ords like Everbody else. If your in fear of bd in pvp why not only up orb production for bd in pve. They deserve it. Bd runs out so fast and its dangerous.

So the logic is that since in PvE Blade Dancer is most likely to die he must generate so few orbs so everyone will not use it and enrage teammates?

Another nonsensical post by another Bungie employee. What is this international bring your troll to work day at Bungie's offices? What the hell does orb generation have to do with super balance? A gunslinger kills 2 Majors, and generates 8/9 orbs max. Same gunslinger kills 4 Majors, generates 8/9 orbs max. So why the hell would a blade dancer being able to generate 8/9 orbs as well make it unbalanced? Same goes for sunsinger as someone else already posted, who can generate 8/9 orbs max from using one super, regardless if you kill an entire raid with that one super (a bit ridiculous, but i hope you get the point). Do you even think before you reply or are you guys using bots that look for keywords and post a preset response? Geez
