PvP and Sandbox merger?
Has the idea of introducing PvP into the PvE environment ever been considered?

65 RepliesI think you'd be surprised at the number of PvP-related ideas that have been kicked around at Bungie. :) My advice is to keep telling us what PvP ideas you, as player, are excited about and you never know what might happen.

1 ReplyWhat if there were a special class armor item, like a hunter cloak or a titan buttflap, that flagged you for PvP in PvE environments? And you could make it divided per faction (NM, DO, FWC). And to prevent abuse, you could make it so you are still flagged for 5-10 minutes after taking off the item. AAAAND, you could get faction bounties that would award you rep and glimmer. Just some ideas.

I love pvp, and crucible is not enought, open world pvp with pk system and clan objetives should bring destiny to next level

15 RepliesI would like to have the ability to duel someone! Randomly picking a fight with someone in patrol and giving us a radius to play in. It could be activated by punching each other lol.

1 ReplyThe idea of a full pvp zones sounds like a lot of fun. You can probable design a full planet to designated for the pvp crowd. Of course if you are going to do that you'd probable would want to expand on the vehicle arsenal.. I would love to see something like ship to ship battles.. The idea of directly piloting the ships would be really fun. I'm a big fan of the classic dog fight..

Yep this will most definitely run the pve community off and make this game strictly pvp. If thats what you want then go right on ahead. I'm done with this game and all bungie products in future so it won't effect me anyway. Sucks the days of story line dragging you in to the point of "I can't put the controller down" are coming to an end and replaced with.... with .... Ummm. Whatever you may call it it damn sure ain't RPG......

I would love world pvp, but we need to be able to play as the enemy first. Othereise were just a bunch of gaurdians killing eachother.

Please if you have not already explore the idea of Fallen/Hive/Vex/Cabal story lines. But don't stop there, they should also have all the same amenities as Warlocks/Hunters/Titans in their own right of course. I look forward to this ideas implementation in the next update. So with all that being said I will be raiding the Tower with any one who is with me

Everyone relax there is nothing to be afraid of. Blizzard did a great Job in World of Warcraft. I'm sure Bungie will give you and your base plenty of protection.Then you can run a safe little mission with your buds. And when it's time to man up, Raid PvP compounds and if that still hurts your feelings I'll be your Hucklberry, for glimmer of course I don't work for free!

Yes, because Bungie needs to focus on more PvP ideas for Destiny. Please, do bring PvP into the PvE environment along with even more weapon nerfs and "balancing".

11 RepliesThe whole world turned into a "run, kill, teabag, die" fest populated by worst qualities of adolescent behavior. Griefing would be rampant, in fact built into the game. Just total chaos all the time. Want to run a mission with a couple of your buds and just blow off some steam? Forget it, because a bunch of punks decide to ruin your mission just for kicks. Force this upon PvE? No, no, and again, NO! For crying out loud, I have never asked for a change to PvP to suit me, and I feel the bulk of the PvE players are the same. Why is it the PvP crowd can't leave us alone?

7 RepliesI think this would be awesome. Certain areas are merged and you can kill other guardians in them. It wouldn't be like all of earth will become a gankfest just one zone.

Only if they make it a separate option from regular Patrol. For example, the mission levels with Heroic modifiers. As in, you go to Patrol and you can select between regular or pvp patrol the same way as with the modifiers on missions. But if they do enact this and they don't make it a selectable option, then.... no...just no.

Pvp over large maps is the most boring shit in the world. It's just going to be some douche camped with a sniper rifle all day.

20 RepliesPvp over patrol is just a lightbulb going off in an assholes head. That's why we have pvp maps, because the maps make it better. Pvp on patrol is a camp fest joke like any large map in any pvp fps game. Bungie, stop listening to morons.
