I can only really speak for hunters:
Gunslinger offers quick and steady movement and damage. Using golden gun with combustion and keyhole is insane. Chain of woe and gunslinger trance reward the accurate fantastically.
Bladedancer is great in PvP and PvE, as is the gunslinger. PvP I use backstab and one shot people with my melee, quick draw for instant ads, hungering blade for devastating super. And PvE I use all the invis perks. In the abyss I run max agility, full invis, and I just stomp through, bring a striker with you and when the thrall get to many in numbers just fist of havoc them or hungering blade them. (This means no stalker which I don't use until crota.)
And then there's the unbeatable exotics.
Symbiote is one of the best in game, third man is the bladedancer equivalent, ahamkara spine is a little lacking but still alright, alpha lupi is better for a medic bladedancer but all around useful, we don't talk about ats, dance machines are fantastic for PvP and now that the glitch is fixed good for end game, knucklehead is also great for PvP.
Not to mention the new Hunter ahamkara boots we have coming, gives you an extra jump on your double jump? My God, hunters will be sniping from the pillar on b in the shores of time! I can't wait.
Other classes are great too, but hunters are for me. The entire essence of them is just exactly how I wish to play, whether it be gunplay or character/roleplay.

I am so ready for those boots dude haha
-
Right?
-
whats ats? And don't forget about lucky raspberry.. spawn with a grenade everytime in pvp is pretty great
-
Ats/8 arachnid. I'm gonna get it, but I'm not a fan of I it's perk.
-
Its worthless tbh. It looks awesome though haha, hope they add in vanity slots someday cause its the coolest looking helmet in the game
-
Wouldn't say coolest, but with the comorant scarf.
-
Cormorant scarf??? o.O?
-
The starting scarf, the double eagle is a symbol of the comorant. They were a faction who fought a forgotten enemy, likely before the collapse. The titans have Mark of the comorant and warlocks have...shining eagle? Twin eagle? Hunters get a common, titans a rare, and warlocks a legendary speaker bond.
-
Didn't know that. Is that what it's called? Its my favorite to wear though
-
Sadly no it's the makeshift scarf, actually that implies the hunters weren't a part of the comorant... hmm.
-
I thought I'd have recognized cormorant if it was on the name of the scarf. That's cool though is that in the grimoire?
-
Although to be fair my clan mate guardian found the mark, I just asked if anyone knew of one and pieced it together.
-
No it's flavor text on Mark of the comorant. When I noticed the twin eagle on more than one piece I searched for it again, then I found that. It seems a Hunter took the old mark from a dead titan and made a scarf out of it. And also from flavor text, that means much more than just any other cloak so maybe hunters were comorant. Sorry for being so back and forth.

Its cool I never would've known either way until you said something

Edited by AnonPig: 3/2/2015 8:37:50 PMYea, there's a ton of cool stuff buried in the game. I hope they highlight it more as they go. Have you heard anything about the cauldrons of rhea? I know it's a place, but think it may be where the nine...exist? I wouldn't know if they live.
