Cause the 10 hard raids I did not one Titan made it past halfway. Not talking about the glitch that doesn't count I'm talking about running the lamps. There usually trying to bark orders and tell people skip lamps and when to go to the next one as if I'm going to slow down lol. your crawling through the lamps means I'm leaving you behind. Titans are fast tho so my question is why are hunters making it through lamps week after week. Is it that90% of Titans don't understand how to use the subclass? Cause it shouldn't be that hard

As a Titan, I'm usually the only one that makes it through the pit.
-
I have 2 titans and never die in hard. I use striker class for that to super enemies and create it's for my team to super we super left and right and if all else fails I'm usually he last one at the end not a hunter
-
I only use a Titan and I get through more often than most people.
-
I'm a 31 titan. Don't have problems through the lamps. Only gets a little hairy at the bridge being 31.
-
Saint-14 and a little competence makes any Titan a winner. Even better if you're running with a Obsidian Mind equipped Warlock. Orbs for days.
-
I abuse the hell outta my bubble, shields, grenades, rockets, fusion rifle, Vex Mythoclast So long as I'm not solo, I can make it to the end without much of an issue.
-
Every so often I throw down a bubble with helm of saint 14 halfway to a lamp so it'll blind the thrall. The lamp part is not difficult.
-
haha I have all 3 characters and my go to is my TITAN for soloing this part for people. Blinding bubble + MIDA Multi Tool makes it super easy. Without those, I can see it being quite hard.
-
1 ReplyAs a Titan, I can solo the entire lamp part using my Striker class. I just need Pulse Grenades, My Fist of Havoc and Fatebringer and nothing can stop me. Not that difficult to run through at all.

Edited by Kenybear: 2/27/2015 6:36:56 PMIf your running ahead and setting of lamps your the problem. If you feel the need not to play as a team learn how to not trigger them as you go. It's not hard. Account has not played destiny. Opinions not valid. Move on everyone.

Edited by Bart, Eater of Shorts: 2/27/2015 6:38:38 PMIt seems as if every other titan I play with are just too -blam!-ing derpy to run lamps successfully. You can run it in defender with IB equipped with its combustion perk easily. Its just that some titans just don't know how. Knowledgeable titans need to teach the newer ones, that's all BTW my combo is Fatebringer with explosive rounds, LDR 5001, and Gjallarhorn. If not Gally then HoC

Those Titans must suck. But you're also being a shitty teammate. Titans aren't going to be as fast as hunters or whatever but still; when I play Crota as my Titan, every time I reach the lamp o turn around and shoot the thralls to help out those behind me....if I don't, they are surely not going to escape for x amount of lamps left. Being in front is actually the EASY job, kill a few thralls that pop up boom your Darkness is gone and bam you're sprinting to the next one while your teammates fight and try to keep up while also avoiding now the time Bomb of a lamp.

4 RepliesYou must play with trash....

I did it with each characater. Titan included. With equiped Mida, I'll run faster then any hunter without one. I'm still wondering is this trolling or are you really serious? I would really like to see your profile that's conveniently locked.
-
I can make it almost everytime with my Titan.
-
I'm a Titan I rock lamps on solo seen many others complete it solo as well
-
Mida+Swordbreaker+Saint-14
-
I solo the lamps on hard as a titan. People just suck sometimes
-
Fatebringer, ice breaker, anything else + striker class with inmost light, never had an issue

Edited by Combo164: 2/27/2015 6:27:05 PMI haven't solo'd it with my titan since my character is only 31. Cant invis like my hunter can from getting slapped/scratched. But, if my strategy from normal can work (spam pulse grenades while using a gun that has grenadier to help restock them) it'll help with getting to the bridge. Pulse grenades and even aftermath with the duration increase perk will keep thralls at bay and then you slaughter some before turning into a bitch and running. Be careful of suicide I'd think of popping a bubble when ogre shows but the problem is having to get it charged. If you change classes at the bridge forming part, then it'll be close. I wouldn't suggest running defender because the spike grenades don't last long enough. Oh and sniper with camo (i swear i can't remember the name all of a sudden) oh yeah, patience and time.

2 RepliesIt sounds as if you don't want to move as a team and help out your fireteam.
-
2 RepliesGood luck getting through legitimately - and I'm talking hallowed knights, 2 ogres, an army of thralls and acolytes, etc... - at the bridge plate WITHOUT a defender on your team. Even harder if that defender isn't sporting Saint 14. I solo'ed the abyss on hard as a Titan (striker) but that was by doing the get up on the rock and kill that one ogre then wait.
-
The T in team stands for Titan. You are playing with the wrong people if that's really what you think. As for the titan being capable of running the lamps, watch josh757 on twitch running them. Cheers
-
Use pulse grenades, Armamentarium, and Aftershocks
-
I've done it legit. I don't even have to jump on the rock on the last lamp. It's easy if you have Helm of Saint 14 and blessing on w/ high intellect.
