Cause the 10 hard raids I did not one Titan made it past halfway. Not talking about the glitch that doesn't count I'm talking about running the lamps. There usually trying to bark orders and tell people skip lamps and when to go to the next one as if I'm going to slow down lol. your crawling through the lamps means I'm leaving you behind. Titans are fast tho so my question is why are hunters making it through lamps week after week. Is it that90% of Titans don't understand how to use the subclass? Cause it shouldn't be that hard

Edited by SPITRAT: 2/27/2015 10:37:17 PMNever had problems with my Titan. Hit all the lamps and make it the bridge. I use Striker class for the slight increase in agility and equip my Mida Multi Tool. I can keep up with any Hunter in my group. Throw lightning grenades at the lamps before illuminating them. Use FOH with aftershocks to stop the thralls when we need to let people catch up. No big deal. edit: Oh and Death from Above is really sweet in the Shreeker room to make it to the door before it closes.

Def. Not about the class, about the guardian behind the controller
-
I made it on normal by consistently shoulder charging midair to the next lamp. I assume this would work for hard mode too?
-
I have seen titans pretty much solo the lamps on hard and not take a shortcut. I soloed it the other day with mine its actually fairly simple if you can change stuff quickly. I run spike grenade and the saint helm to pop a blind bubble if needed and once I get to the end hit the plate jump on the rock change to no back up plans quickly so my bubble lasts longer then when the ogre starts shooting my way pop my bubble stay in it till the bridge is built then run.
-
the first time we ever ran hard, the only 2 to make it were titans, we smashed the Ogre and danced across the bridge now we just take turns running our hunters it's just to easy that way
-
1 ReplyMida Multi Tool.
-
Are you a teen?
-
2 RepliesWhat's the glitch that doesn't count? I'm fairly certain using an in game jump to reach another part of the purposefully created map isn't a glitch.
-
My friend is a pro at lamps solo with his Titan, on hard mode. I only attempt with my hunter, but after watching him, I'm pretty sure I can do it after a few tries.
-
Define legit?
-
I never struggle on lamps. Nor any other aspect of the Crotas raid
-
I made it all the way on hard mode when my titan was still 31, it's the player, not the class, and you're just an ass.
-
1 ReplyHunters can go invisible, thus putting all the aggro on everyone else. In my experience a lot of hunters (not all) will use their invisibility and not try to help the teammates behind them by turning and shooting. Warlocks are also good to an extent because of double solar made and self res when necessary. Titans can do their fair share with 5 beat pulse grenades and aftermath to keep the team safe. However if you want this section to go smoothly, you will always help the teammates behind you. Trying to solo then dying to ogres is just a waste of everybody's time.

8 RepliesWard of Dawn w/Armor of Light or Blessing of Light, Spike Grenade (the only time in the game they are marginally useful), Helm of the Saint-14, Vex w/agility boost, Swordbreaker w/agility boost. Pretty much solo lamps on hard with that setup. Sometimes I use MIDA instead of Vex. Once you get to the end you can pop your bubble near the entrance to the bridge and all the Thralls and Knights blind themselves while you recharge your super punching them to death. Titan is probably the only class that can solo the lamps on Hard without having to jump on the rocks (would that be a "cheese"?). Not sure if Hunters invis could let them do it too or not without rock hopping.

I love having a titan during that part...fist of panic make that part so much easier for everyone lol, so does purple bomb of terror
-
Those Titans are scrubs any class can make it if the person operating the character is observant enough to play
-
soooo easy with any class lmao
-
1 ReplyHunters are inherently the fastest class. Titans are actually the slowest. You can tweak the stats around, but if all stats are spread evenly across three characters of each class, the Hunter will be the fastest and the Titan will be the slowest.
-
I always make it fine on my titan. If things get crazy I pop a bubble, I also have helm of Saint on so that helps sloe down the thrall a bit too. Especially on hard mode, forming the bridge it helps quite a bit.

Edited by UrbanYetti2010: 2/27/2015 9:16:12 PMArmor of light and helm of saint-14 has saved many wipes on the lamps
-
3 RepliesTitans can be fast. But what titan specs for agility? Either way the lamps arent that difficult.
-
Titan is my best character for lamps, unless I'm wearing don't touch me gauntlets on the hunter. Shoulder charge is excellent if you know how to use it right.
-
I do it solo sometimes and when .y titan was 31 I soloed it with him quite a few times.
-
Yea i typically can make it to the bridge. Occasionally i can make it over. Don't use a striker, go defender with the helm of saint 14. Buff up your recovery. Use constantly recharging on force barrier. Run past the first two lamps. Beyond that keep running.
-
I run a high armor mid agility build. Ice breaker with +2 agility incase I need to 1 shot a big group. For an even easier time with the ogre try bastion w/ no backup plans. Your shield won't run out of shield before the bridge is formed
-
If you want to do it legit, try using Monte Carlo and No Backup Plans with defender. It's a joke. You have a permanent overshield.
