How do I remain competitive after 1.1.1?
If Red Death is now tier one and it's an exotic, how do I remain competitive? I can't just grab one from a vendor.

Edited by Koolie: 2/27/2015 6:12:34 PMWell now that all the weapon classes are viable for both PvP and PvE start testing weapons and see what you enjoy using. The patch allows more weapon choice now. Try out some rare pulse rifles in PvP that have stats similar to legendary and exotic pulse rifles and if you like them you can find legendary that has similar stats. If you do CE, Oversoul Edict is supposed to be decent, and I've heard good things about the Timepiece from VoG. If you get a Red Death, definitely try it. It's my new favorite toy for Crucible.

It has higher impact than red death. Besides that, Red Death is just the new hotness. Hand Cannons are still deadly, Scout rifles are still deadly, and Surros/Vanquisher are still deadly. The important thing to remember is that pulse rifles need that full burst to hit, not just the first shot. If you're mobile you can always force a necessary third or fourth burst.
