Bump. I've been getting this too. For those interested, make sure the app is not running on whichever device you are using. It seems to be that in it's current state the app will kick you if being used while you're playing. For now it's best that you only use this when you aren't playing... Which is totally NOT what we were told we would get from this. I am sure Bungie is taking a look and working on a fix but for now this awesome feature has introduced too many problems.
