If your plasma TV is getting burned when gaming, then it's not an opinion that LCD TV's are better but it is a fact..
I just got a new LCD 32" Emerson for $200 and I am loving it.

Image retention doesn't mean plasma is worse than led/lcd etc, I bought plasma primarily for movies, gaming is an added bonus. To suggest because plasmas suffer ir thus are inferior is ignorant. Show me an led/lcd screen with a better picture than the flagship Panasonic models and I'll go buy one...
