Help me understand the snowflake mentality

I don't understand your perspective here. I've been playing for a while now, have 3-32's all different classes. I've gotten 2 galleys, 1 nechrocasm 1 crux and 1 thunder lord out of drops and some other really nice items. I've also Xur'd a few items 2 ice breakers of my 3 were bought 2 of my 3 plan C's were bought. Tons of motes of light for the ridiculous amount of exotic helmets I have I maybe found 1/3 of the rest. My questions are: Why do you care if someone else buys something you found? How does it effect your game individually? Why do you feel that your found item is less valued because it can be bought? Are the stats/abilities some how effected by their purchase? What's wrong with people who paid for a game to have just as much chance at stuff as you, who weren't as lucky as you getting an item to enjoy the game as much as you? I don't want to argue the point I just want to understand the snowflake mentality..

Because real mmos have certain gear that's extremely rare, and even with trading very few people have it. It's called customization. This game has none. Most games have some. Really we just wanna be unique and destiny doesn't offer that at all.
