Dragon Breath is the best rocket
For somethings this rocket launcher is better ...unless you can't aim .
Sometimes you don't want a tracking rocket and sometimes you don't need a tracking rocket...
the best example that I can give you is the Templar use the dragon breath is the best weapon to use to kill him because he doesn't move no matter what

1 ReplyBest templar combo is ice breaker, hunger of Crota. 3 ice breakers to break detainment, 2 hunger of Crota rockets to templar, 4-5 crit hit icebreaker shots, before he teleports.

It's pretty good on nexus too. As the rocket lands and goes into flare, the nexus just stands there.

You just look kinda foolish at best and well... we will leave it at that. The smoking dragon on your back is the coolest part of carrying it. :P The best weapon in this game is the right weapon for the specific task at hand.

Most bosses move when solar flared, I love the idea of using it on the Templar. It would also be great in the lamps at Crota's End, and if your hitting DeathSinger after she starts her lithergy. I haven't levelled mine up yet but it looks fun. I wouldn't use it on the Atheon cp, rockets in general are a bad idea as Atheon starts dancing around and the snipers won't be getting criticals

1 ReplyIt's an amazing rocket no doubt, highly underrated. People just can't aim against Crota (or in general). With 3 in the tube and constant DPS, dragon deals a ton of damage against every boss in the game. Absolutely wrecks all of the strike bosses except for the ones that move a lot like sepiks and aksor (if you're unlucky on the tp). With that blast radius, decent speed, constant DPS and 3 in the tube, I honestly don't know how people think it's a bad rocket. It's not even situational, it's an amazing rocket overall. Well worth an exotic slot.

I have Gally, Truth, and Dragons Breath. My goto will always be Gally. I'd use the Truth over dragon fart. I mean it does look cool.. I guess it's got that going for it..

I like dragon's breath, it is a neat launcher. The only thing I would change is the DOT delivery. Instead is a solar flair. Have it do fire damage over time to affected enemies. That way that flair won't be half a waste. Or you could have that flair move with the enemy/enemies for a period of time.

It would be better if it had cluster bombs instead of solar grenade. I find this launcher is best for dealing with adds, rather than strike bosses.

The most simple solution to Dragon's Breath is to replace its dumb solar flare with the blast radius igniting targets for a DOT. It doesn't need tracking or proximity detonation, but should reward a skilled shot that connects with massive damage. As it stands, it's good for maybe 3 total enemies?

Dragons breath works great on the deathsinger, especially when she starts to sing and is stationary.
