Why does Xur come once a week? What's the point? If people want stuff they just wait till Friday anyway. He might as well just sell everything because everyone has almost all they need anyway and be a vendor in the tower.
I dunno, he just seems more pointless every week except when he sold heavy ammo.

12 RepliesYou win the award for having the most dumb idea on the forum, on this day. Congrats dude... maybe xur will sell you an exotic handkerchief so you can whipe your tears with it.
-
3 RepliesThat would ruin the whole loot system. The whole point of exotics and Xûr only coming on weekends is to make it more fun and exciting.
-
3 Replies100 coins for Gjallarhorn 80 coins for Red Death 75 coins for Suros 75 coins for Thunderlord 50 coins for all the other rogue gallery crap exotics still keep one weekly item on sale for 23 coins
-
1 ReplyYou're obviously new around here. No one wants Xur to pop and sell EVERYTHING. However, this is your post, so if he did, he would show up ONCE and never be seen again. That's how it would work.
-
Once a week gives you something to look forward too. Makes him more valuable.

Yeah, snowflakes are gross. Players should choose what they want to get. Enough said. Snowflakes -blam!-ing murdered and -blam!- this game for their own egos.

2 RepliesI have everything now, finally, but would be all about this idea. Always thought xurs randomness was stupid and another piece of the bungie teams self indulgent, control freak asses cake.

2 RepliesEdited by alanjames17: 2/27/2015 12:04:25 PMA bad bad idea imo. It makes the game more exciting thinking you can land an exotic after doing a raid etc. it makes you want to come back. I'd be bored of the game now if I had all the exotics as I would have bought them and upgraded them all. It's fine as it is. If you make multiple characters you have a higher chance of receiving them than you would with only one character 3 x nightfall per week and doing both raids 3+ times will increase the chances

1 Replyagreed, I'm not a fan of the Dangled Carrot..keep playing you'll get it eventually!!! HA..my friend quit playing about a month ago, he wanted Praxic Fire since launch, I texted him that Xur has it this morning and ask would he get it?? he said NOPE I'm done with that BS game. quit withholding weapons and armor bungie if Xur cant get his head out then maybe you should control him. I have 4 friends that quit playing over this nonsense.. waiting for HOW cause I payed.. but waiting for Bloodborne, Witcher, and even EOS...hope to hear Fallout 4 from E3. will not pre pay Destiny 2 as I did with this game.

Terrible idea. He's fine the way he is right now. Let the 9 Bungie trolls that decide what he sells keep the pointless jobs they have.
-
Might as well

11 RepliesEdited by DoktorBoar: 2/27/2015 11:02:03 AMYes it's pointless. Strange coins are difficult to accumulate unless you play everyday, all day. I don't see the point in withholding anything at this point. I want noobs to never go through the shitfest we did. It's why the game flat out died back in September! Really, what's the point of me waiting another week hoping he will sell the stealth drive so I can have an op red jet speeder
-
If that happens. Items needs cost 3-4x more. Coins are kinda too easy to get at the moment.
-
2 RepliesI agree for numerous reasons.

Melt you snowflakes, I'm bumping the shit out of this post!
