DONT USE COMPANION APP TO SWITCH GUNS! *Must Read
If you use the companion app to switch guns and ect... You will soon be hit with weasel and it won't go into act right away but after 10-15 it will keep weaseling you making it unable to play. :( I wanted to complete all my Nightfalls guess that will have to wait for another day. I am not the only one experiencing this everyone else is too read the "Help" form section. Like cmon bungie get your shit together it seems like it's something new with this game every week.
Edit: This is happen more commonly now it's on reddit it's has to be a bug brought by the new patch.
Edit: I advice guardians don't transfer exotics/Important stuff from vault to character until the companion app is stable. Don't wanna lose that beautiful Ghorn.
Edit: With all you Guys & Gals help It seems to be that this glitch is happening to ever 1/4 of the community so a good majority aren't being hit. I will be home from work soon and will make another edit to check if my destiny will let me complete a nightfall. And keep the comments coming and likes hopefully Bungie will see this and send a mentor here to help us guardians out.

Used mine while away from my xbox one. Haven't tried it while in game, but I didn't have any issues moving stuff while I was at work.

I can't say for certain it was the companion app that caused my weasels but it is a mighty coincidence. I played for about 1.5 hours before trying to move stuff around. A little while later I was getting weaseld out. I wound up turning off my ps4 and unplugging my modem to restart it. Once it came back on and worked I didn't bother trying out the app again. I used an ipad and an galaxy s5 to move items around.

It worked well for me as far as getting my stuff to and from the vault but I did get a couple weasel code kicks. Moved a ton of stuff around though

I tried it out, used it while playing, used it when the console was off, no issue on Xbone.

Been using it to switch stuff back and forth all day and not a single issue other then a tiny bug where it says every node is new if you put an item on a character you're not playing at the time.

It saved me a shit ton of time this morning getting my strange coins and motes of light on my titan while making my coffee and then transferring my xurned items to each other character while I was going down to do my bounties. Literally best update ever in any video game I have played.

Mine worked perfectly fine. I swapped gear for the raid, then I swapped gear just to swap gear. Then I swapped the gear back just to do it again. No problems. Sounds like your connection sucks?

It wouldnt delete your weapon for two reasons one you can switch weapons around with out playing the game and two when you switch weapons it is instant

This doesn't occur as a result of the companion app... My friend doesn't even have the app and he constantly gets the weasel, while I've used the new vault feature and haven't gotten kicked yet

I used it all day yesterday and was organizing my vault with zero issues... Worked fine every time. All transfers were completed almost instintly. I'm using a PS4 with a Galaxy S4 over a Lan cable.. Using comcast as a Internet provider and I'm using a comcast modem (rental)

Zero issues here either. I used my phone on 4g and pow. Heck I have more issues using my console than anything.
