I would be upset if Xur sold it.
It finally dropped for me after 22 days played on the game. I think that time invested counts for something.

Tell that to the people who barely have 5 days logged and have one for each character. How is it right to say they "earned" that weapon when there are people who have played since the beta (like myself) and the alpha, but still haven't received this weapon even though they have done the raids, Nightfalls, and weekly heroic every week since the game released? It's not. The only way to "balance" those BS odds out is through Xur. Hell before this week I had gone 4-6 weeks without an exotic from the nightfall; yet I see posts on the forums saying "received my 5th Ghorn from nightfall this week. Not even funny anymore". How is that my fault I don't get blessed by this games loot system? Have I not put in my time? 290 hours on my current characters isn't much but it's a start. I don't know how much time I've actually logged since I've created and deleted a few characters now.

I have been playing since day 1 and 3 characters doing every high level exotic chance activity on the hardest difficulty since October. It finally dropped for me last night. Pretty awesome feeling, seeing as how I've rng'ed minimum one of each exotic except Gjally up to that point and it's been that way since before CE expansion.

True bro. I've put over 250 hours into this game. Not even close to how many some have played but that's steady 12-17 hour days for the past 2 monthes no weekends and yea. I don't care. I'll get one eventually. But you got a good point. Took over 20 crota completions to get a helmet. With 2 32 ' s and a 31 rig is a bitch sometimes
