New vog...blocks on venus are puzzle pcs.
So im rewriting this now that i have a bit of time. On venus.... I have found out that the blocks on venus that glow and dont are puzzle pcs that plug into the areas there in and energize the structures, your controller glows yellow and pulsates the walls change from dsrk to like an electricity flowing thru them and some move. There a hidden maps that are made up of glowing dots over a pattern (a pettern found in that location) and the glowing dots represent the pattern the block needs to be flipped to. Next to that on the wall (usually the other side) there is a pattern with a right angle (the right angle i believe being the start) and the dots on that map have the locations to plug into. There is stones laying around that are in diff. Forms for doing diff things like a triange one for pushing it up a ledge. Ask me and ill tell u all i know so far.
Edit. I know there is four locations on venus with hidden maps at the front and rear starting locations where u enter(like the citidel). Also one block in atheons room. They are not there for nothing.
Ive found that using the sparrow to move them up steps and distances and sometimes flip them works well.
Anyone that adds me nathanfler i will gladly show how to do in one of the areas that i know so far.
I could use real help let me know, i found some other things to that just aren't coensidence (if that how u spell it lol) in the hive areas.

In vog at the jump maze part There must be a way to power that teleporter After a team mate jumped onto the lower platform that doesnt move the teleporting platforms began to lead a path to the teleport gate in the distance Im wondering if this is anything

Have you tried starting vog, and at the spire stage go place all the blocks before you start the raid then when you get to the boss place the last one

I cant believe i never tried it. Altought there are plenty of distractions [b]if any1 is wondering check out this video[/b]- http://youtu.be/mRjiTTdmXTk If you stop it around 1.10 you will see the puzzle piece. He then proceeds to show you 1 of the possible slots/holes at around 5.00 Its a shame he didnt know what he was looking at lol Please keep me posted if any1 finds anything!

5 RepliesThe problem with your theory is. I can't see any way destiny actually saves the information that you have done anything. As in the second you go to orbit (which you would have to do in order to start vault of glass) all the blocks would be respawned in their original location. Well infact you could start on a whole new world/different server. Destiny does not save any information on the location or what you have done in game. It merely gives you a check Point, inside of a mission. Then generates a new world when you exit and rejoin. It's already been confirmed there is no new chest in the vault, it's also 99% certain even IF there was another chest it would only contain ascendant materials (as both raids have 1 exotic drop chest/in yut and final boss drops) so it's not actually going to contain anything worthwhile. Finally, even IF there was an easter egg it would more than likely all be contained within the vault, and it would be something contained in a single area, as people have found out things like the templar chest you get from not letting him teleport, the way this game works means if you had to activate several stages from beginning to end, it wouldn't save that information. Hence why everything in this game is contained locally and check pointed.

6 RepliesThe trials of kabr are weird to me. Its a completely optional path leading to the templar that makes you jump a little bit more. Wouldn't it make more sense if the trials were about escaping the vault considering kabr was consumed by it and couldn't escape? You can get back into the trials from the templar as long as you don't jump off the ledge.

Okay, I don't get it. I can't find where the blocks fit into. I see the blocks, even some glowing dots are on one if the walls. Need more help here!

1 ReplyReminds me of the time when I spent an hour with a random guy because he claimed there was a chest hidden in the jumping puzzle. The idea and the location where it was made it look some what real. Until he said super this spot its a house of wolves chest.

20 RepliesEdited by Sev: 2/28/2015 7:43:22 AMInvestigating with op notes and the events that ensued: These notes where made across the course of 1hour and 32minutes as was the length of the full video recording of the investigation As far as I can tell guys at this point in time from playing with op what he has encountered Is some chance encounters with public events spawning as he pushes a block towards a wall Furthermore at this point time I can not confirm or deny any hidden chests spawning areas or otherwise I have seen 2 public events spawn when placing two blocks however bothers were on the event tracker to spawn Any thing else I see from playing with him and observing I will post as of this point in time it seems to be pure chance and luck as maps he refers to look like simple environmental design interpreted differently Finally he states that his controller turns yellow when he inserts blocks however this is just the ps4 coding to indicate you have a super as he again by chance got a super charge as he moved a block into his "place" Blocks do not lock in at all and can be moved as easily as normal once placed Insertion locations to my view look like any other wall and he claims it is a puzzle location Walking around Venus and he states and I qoute "my controller just turned yellow we must be close to something we need to do" This immediately flashes lights for me and brings doubt as xbox either wise would have no idea that they would "have something to do nearby" Investigation continuing These are all my sightings and I could be wrong op could be right this is just my investigational notes Edit 1: Invisible wall in cave on left of citadel area coming from ever caves is according to op what must open when all blocks plugged in Also made us go to orbit and back in after not public event spawned when plugging in a block Edit 2: Claims he finished the whole puzzle and that he can't re do it now and made me host No progress after more attempts I believe his chance occurrences have him believing he is activating some puzzle Giving it a break don't believe there is anything personally have videos of him talking and doing his thing if people wanna see but I believe there is nothing May investigate more another day Sorry to spoil peoples hope Final edit: Op believes that being in VoG makes a difference just followed his so called steps steering clear of any public event times replicated exactly to what he showed me on video and nothing happened Again the fact that it is relying on a controller light bar changing colour removes all hope as xbox doesn't have this feature
