One Gun Xur SHOULDN'T SELL
If Xur sold the Gjallahorn this game will be unbalanced and be a joke. I don't want noobs walking around with it. I feel like this exotic should be earned the hard way and not by waiting for Xur to sell it. I'm sorry for the people that don't have it, until you have one you will say the same thing. But at the same time people can stop bitching about it. I have 6 Gjallahorn's and don't use the extra 3 but still I would like for this game to keep going as it is and fix the glitches in hard mode Crota with the sword disappearing. Back to the Gjallahorn, don't ever make Xur sell it. And make people keep grinding for it each week. Thank you.

I've played the end of crota 3 times and my last time got both ghorn and dragons breath it's all random getting them you can be a total noob or play every day it doesn't matter I am afraid that they will nerf the ghorn if xur does sell it but it shouldn't matter what he sells everyone has a chance to get it anyway

1 ReplyThey should make the Necrochasm an impossible drop, because it is the hardest EARNED weapon in the game, and I have it and you don't! I have been hard raid twice every week since it is come out, and guess what, no Gally. Heck, the teams I run with rarely have Gally's, yet bet it quite easily, with a little thing called skill.

1 ReplyEdited by manmah: 2/27/2015 4:28:47 PMSo I know a noob who just bought the game gets Suros and ghorn on their first nightfall "earned it" even though they play like shit and cause wipes, and instead of doing a run in 30mins it takes 2.5 hours at least, and it was just easier to leave him dead so we can finish the run without his hinderance. I guess he "earned those" my ass! It's rng and it rewards the crappy players. Nuff said.

It should be a temporary reward in game for being a bad ass. You have a good streak of kills, revives or perform a series I amazing feats, your rocket launcher's Wolf Pack abilities, once dormant, now revives. Receiving it is pure luck, but practically everyone who owns it claims they got it from skill. I've seen vids of teams with G-horns take down Atheon in two teleports and teams with sniper rifles take him down in four. Who has more skill? My money is on the team that actually had to fight Atheon longer than 10 minutes. I got Truth from a Legendary engram. Everyone who doesn't have one isn't a noob. They just don't have it yet.

I would be fine with xur selling the ghorn as long as it was 100-150 strange coins that would make it so only long time players could have it

7 RepliesThe only exotic weapons that are earned in this game are: Thorn, Invective, Bad Juju, Pocket Infinity, and Super Good Advice. You have to do specific tasks to get those weapons. Getting an exotic from a nightfall or a raid is not earning it. When a noob gets a ghorn 3 weeks in they did not earn it. Besides whats the big deal if Xur does sell it. People made the same complaint about icebreaker but that hasn't broken the game, has it?

Noobs shouldn't have yet I've seen plenty of level 20-24 guardians with a grimore of less than 1000 have it, but I don't with 1000 hours of gameplay and 3 level 32's. Hmmm seems legit

Gjallerhorn is for wimps. Look your enemy in the eye aim your gun like a man and blow his head off. Tracking should only be done when when shooting a plane.

You get it and think you're somehow more pro, which you (and I) are definitely not. We're just lucky. A pro is someone who can use suboptimal resources to achieve Optimal results. I have played this game for over 500 hours from day 1 and no gjallahorn or red death. Some people say you earn your RNG drop by grinding the game and that when eventually you get the drop you wanted you have earned it by putting the 500 or so hours in. I can see there point but I also understand that RNG means that I could grind away for the full life of this franchise and NEVER get one. I have only been raiding about a month and have full sets of raid gear for all alts and almost all weapons, I have had to start dismantling mythoclasts some people still don't have one. And don't forget with every new dlc the chances of the gjallahorn drop. RNG is RNG and because of the attitude of some people who have it, it should defiantly get sold.
