Why Do People Hate Warlocks?
Everyone says they are Noobs and that self res is a crutch. Why?
Edit: a lot of people say we die a lot. I check your raid KD and mine is better then most of yours on my warlock so shut the -blam!- up.
Edit: Most people hating don't even have a warlock. Lmao.
Edit: Seems that a lot of people don't like glide. I personally like it the best.

I made a warlock for my third character. It's still a fun class to play, but I'm not keen on the jump when compared to Titan/hunter and I feel like I can't use my sunsinger super in raids in case I need to self res! (I'm not a great player, it's a definite possibility). I've only just started levelling void walker and that's pretty fun, but I still prefer the other two classes.

People hate warlocks because raid gear with sun breakers and glowhoo is hilarious to wear and it makes people jealous

I honestly don't care and I believe each class is built for a certain play style if you wanna go stealthy EASY Hunter if you wanna stab people in the necks hunter if you wanna be fast hunter if you wanna have your health regenerating all the time warlock if you wanna self Rez warlock if you wanna be buff and punch people to death. Also, I share my account with my kids so worrying about KD and such is not my thing :) And when it comes to RoC strikes, it doesnt even matter what others do. I mean c'mon, my 5year old son beats RoC strikes easily with 40-100 kills

4 RepliesAs a PVE player that's mindful of generating as many orbs as possible, the majority of those who do not use their supers are Sunsinger warlocks. As a 32 playing a 26 roc strike, U should not plan on dying. If u do, u most likely have 2 other OP teammates (30-32) that can revive you. Use ur abilities. Stop planning on being so independent. The ones that do use their super, I instantly point and dance, I can't help it.

As a warlock I'm in a fire team for support if my fellow guardians die it is my job to get both of them up even if I die ( what's better 2 guardians or 1) and if they can't get me up I'll use selfrez. But most of the time void walkers the way to go! Also in my opinion warlocks can take more of a beating then other classes.

I think what most people hate about it is people who play sunsinger a lot, tend to play more sloppily cause they have the self-Rez crutch, and they don't use it at a point when it helps the team or saves the day. They use it when I'm standing right next to them and could easily have rezzed them and let them save their class skill for a time when it would be helpful. I personally like warlock the least. I don't care for the glide, it's like a weak version of the Titan jump, and blink is just frustrating (to me) to use effectively. I enjoy playing voidwalker, not so much sunsinger, but lots of groups seem to want you to have self-Rez for wipe prevention or cheezing certain parts of certain raids. I also personally think the CE raid armor for warlocks looks terrible, and I tend to play my characters more if I think they look cool.

Because you keep your super as a panic button instead of using it to contribute to the team... There are times where using your super is more useful to the team than if you hold onto it. Also, K/D means jack shit in raids. I can guarantee you we protect our sword-bearer and he does not get many kills, leave kills to the warlock for orbs, kill small minions with "red death" to regain health, etc.

The problem is that they aren't using warlocks right. Saving your super until death is wasteful and useless. Often times you die because you were being careless thinking "well I've got self Rez anyway" and then they die in the wide open. They spend half of their super trying to get back to cover. That is such a waste because then they don't even kill anything with the super and don't spawn any orbs. Here's how you should play warlock. •See a group of enemies? Super + Grenade + Shoot •See one special major enemy? Super + Grenade and Melee •See a boss? Super + Grenades •Just feel like using it? Use that shit Two warlocks can literally have infinite supers if they aren't being selfish and saving it for death

I didn't like warlocks when it seemed to be a requirement to have one to do the VoG hard mode. I made one and I love my Warlock. Self rez isn't a crutch. If anything I think for those who use rely upon it and as result never use their super for the whole mission or raid, they learn how to use their weapons better to contribute more firepower. In some situations its awesome to have self rez because it allows you to try out some crazy new move that you wouldn't try with a titan or a hunter.

3 RepliesI think locks are the best overall (pvp and pve) class. Void for pvp, self-rez for pve. I don't hate them for it. I do hate hunters, because they're handed 8-12 free kills every match in pvp and they think they're good for it. I'm a titan. We have absolutely nothing going for us except the bubble in pve.

I use my super on mobs. A few grenades takes care of it quick and if I happen to die with my super I can self res win-win.

I dislike when you do nova bomb in pvp its almost impossible to kill you. Im not sure when you guys radiance in pvp grenades and punches on hit me. I dislike your range melee with shotty combo Raid kd is laughable and very easy to increase
