So I got a Thunderlord from Hard Crota, and looking at its skill trees i'm not sure if I want more ammo or better stability. It will still be a while before it can be leveled to that point, but I was wondering if there was a stronger preference for one over the other.

If your in pvp leave field scout on and once you grab heavy hide somewhere quick and switch back to perfect balance. You'll have a 60 round mag with amazing stability
-
First put Field Scout, reload to 60 bullets and then changes to Stability perk. Love this LMG! First exotic drop from Atheon HM.
-
I like stability. If you quickly tap the trigger it can be used like a scout rifle.
-
Stability for pve Field Scout for pvp
-
Depends on what you are doing, field scout is good for bosses, perfect balance is s solid pvp approach it's up to your playstyle

1 ReplyOnly exotic weapon I don't have :'(
-
Field scout and lightning rounds. That's all you need
-
Field scout, all day. Thunderlord is amazingly stable and accurate as is. Wait til you get its perk, you'll know what I mean, lol.

Field scout

2 RepliesJust got it from the nightfall. I was so excited. Now I just need Red Death, The last word, Hardlight and Gjallahorn
-
I use stability perk for everything, I have 3 all maxed and run it for everything asides bosses, use it like a pulse rifle in short bursts still and it rips
-
Both are a great choice though i prefer stability in pvp. And ammo in pve
-
Ammo perk is great.

More ammo. It grows more stable the longer its shot. More ammo = holds more in reserve.

I just got mine from hard Crota too, a fee buddies have it and recommend field scout, pretty stable on its own
