I used the suggestions in the link you provided to change to a wired connection, as well as forwarding ports. After doing so the number of connection errors went down considerably, from very often to rarely, maybe one a day at most. Currently I'm doing what A level 1 Dreg suggested in his post below, and will post back on this thread what happens as far as connection issues go. Thanks for your quick reply to my post! It's good to know Bungie is on top of things.

As of tonight, no errors whatsoever! I just had to give the system some time I guess.
