NASA is working on a warp drive.
This is so awesome, I can't even think of anything to say. Just read the article.

They aren't working on a warp drive anymore. The project was dismantled. Thanks to Obama and Congress I doubt we will get to see this. What we need is an international organization where they are left to themselves so they can actually do shit
