Why aren't the parents at blame here? I am probably wrong but I remember reading something about the 11 year old having a twitch and YouTube, or is that Kermit? If that's the case this 11yr old has way to much access to the Internet.
Did they even teach this 11yr old to not trust strangers...even on the Internet? The lack of parenting blows my mind.
This by no means harassment or bullying. If he kept sending mean messages or spamming that's one thing. What Kermit did was mean, that's it. What he said about moving on is spot on, it's a video game. Of course id be pissed if it happened to me, but it's his own fault and should live with it and move on.

Why would the parents shoulder any blame? This is a common stupid, idiotic statement. The parents shoulder no blame. The parents clearly raised this kid right. His reaction was tame and collected. He thanked him. Most people would've laced Dirt with a tirade of curses. Not him. Part of being a good parent is knowing what your kids are doing and preparing them for situations. Not drawing an iron curtain around them. You clearly have no children, or you wouldn't say something so retarded.

How is crying tame and collected? 11 year olds crying over something that has no meaning what so ever in actual life is sad. I am around 10-12 year olds all the time and have trolled them in video games and they do not cry over it. They know it's just a game and doesn't matter. They know it's for fun and it's not the end of the world. This issue is so stupid and I think it's funny that do many people are taking offense to this subject.

He's 11, he should have more meaningful things in his life than video games. It's a hobby for him and needs to take it with a grain of salt. This issue is do blown out of proportion that it's just idiotic. This isn't bullying, it's not harassment. Yeah it's mean but oh well get over it and move on. Kermit did a stupid thing but know what else is stupid, trying to cheat your way through something even if it is just a video game. It is nice to see the community help this kid out to get back to his level and such but I seriously hope bungie doesn't give him free stuff (fate of all fools like he said) for trying to cheat.

Edited by Get2DaChoppa81: 2/25/2015 7:01:06 PMYou have no children. And you're a presumptuous ass to say he doesn't have other things that are important to him. He invested time and energy into something. So whether someone deleted a character or stepped on a model airplane that he took months to build, the guy is a dick and you're a pompous ass. It is not blown out of proportion. Golfing is a hobby of mine. Anyone touches my clubs I'll break their fingers. Hobbies are what make all the hard work put in through a week worthwhile.
