Best franchise
No, I did not forget Call of Duty. It does not deserve to be on any list. Unless that list is of the all-time worst games ever.

All three have addicting gameplay and earworthy soundtracks. All three made increasing sales (PAYDAY 2 release was crazy for console), with Assassin's Creed inspiring parkour videos, clothing, and hidden blades. Abstergo, the game's main antagonist, has its own website as a fan concept. Mass Effect provided additional hours of story and lore, with the ending of ME3 creating a hotbed of theory (CleverNoob explains THOROUGHLY). PAYDAY is known for its highly-recommended co-op as strategy is key for pulling heists, whether the method is loud or stealth. A marketing campaign was made prior to PAYDAY 2's release with webisodes showing the game's main crew and their endeavors to find and grab their best score.
