Voidwalker is the funner class in my opinion. It allows for more aggressive play. Sunsinger is only useful to me during Nightfalls as it saves a wipe. But the guy below me already did a [b]FANTASTIC[/b] job. So enjoy the void!

Stop!!! Go level up Sun Singer first, Void Walker can be done later, trust me, for most of the game after level 20 as a solo person, sun singer is the best, also go for Discipline if you're a grenade thrower, mine is over 300, I throw grenades every 30 seconds, radiance is also a must if you're solo. Avoid Void walker until you're past level 20 (assuming you have raid gear already) then start upgrading this class.

If you use Voidfang Vestments you obviously will need Axion Bolt, which in turn becomes more powerful with Annihilate and Bloom. Shatter is a good Nova Bomb variant for this type of build. The strength bonus on the robes will allow you to use energy drain more often, which combined with bloom turns special melee kills into point blank grenades against other nearby targets. Discipline should be prioritized in PvE to make the most of Axion Bolt + Bloom and Intellect is better in PvP since you respawn with grenade energy. Use Soul Rip on energy drain and a helmet with Quintessence Transfer or Inverse Shadow for extra super energy recharge. If you use Skull of Dire Ahamkara you would do best with Embrace the Void and any grenade you can get reliable kills with (Scatter or Vortex grenade of groups of weak enemies or to finish off a elite or major). The energy drain effect makes your grenades recharge faster, the skull extends the drain duration and gives more super energy for grenade kills, and Embrace the Void triggers the basic energy drain effect on grenade and nova bomb hits. Do not take The Hunger ability, since the skull gives it to you as a hidden bonus skill (i.e. what it means by improved energy drain). This build works well with Intellect/Discipline armor or high Discipline and moderate bonuses in the other two. If you find an Obsidian Mind it is possibly the best exotic armor piece for strikes, raids and general missions though the two exotics you already have are better for Crucible/Iron Banner. With Obsidian Mind you want to focus on Intellect and Strength, take perks like Annihilate and Soul Rip, and use either the Vortex or Shatter versions of Nova Bomb to hit as many weaker enemies as possible.
