Auto-Grind while your away at work/school.
This might be old, but I just found it and think its awesome.
This guy rigged his XBOX control to grind away on Destiny while he is not around.

3 RepliesI have a better farming strategy. I hand my controller to my kid, tell her not to destroy or sell anything and send her to a planet or 2. 2 hrs later I wake up from a nap to 25k glimmer and a few daily events completed. Easiest rank of gear and weapons ever.

the irony is if he rigged the gun trigger instead of melee (or just switched in settings) he would probably get more kills than that , the primary gets always reloaded on death

Lol, that's some cave man shit! hahaha I think i would sacrifice a controller and take it apart to wire in a pulse. No mechanical contraptions needed. Just a basic clock pulse sending 5vdc where it's needed. But, i don't have schematics for the xbox controller. Hell, it could be done with a simple relay shorting that button over and over Kind of like a modded controller, i guess

6 Repliesif anybody ever played halo 3 the ranking system in multiplayer was based on skill and not xp... so ppl would derank their account by going to bed at night and tieing a rubber band to there right bumper (on bumper jumper) and jump all night long in multiplayer... wake up in AM and your account is a level 1 again...time to beast on scrubs...

1 ReplyHe only killed 3 thrall in a minute. Which is only 5 xp. That's only 2400 xp in 8 hours. Which is a normal school day. To put that in perspective u can get 2500 xp on a bounty.

I don't see the harm. He's not hurting anyone else. If anything all he's really doing is putting a bit of exp in his armor while he's away. I used to do this with the SNES on FFII. I'd go into open world. Vice grip on the d-pad and vice grip on the x(?) button. I can't remember my exact setup but it worked. I'd end up getting a few levels a day for free doing this. It made the game much less of a grind and made the story mission go a lot faster.

It's easier just to put a cotton ball underneath the left/right stick so you look/walk around in circles. Then you can go AFK on ROC strikes while you go take a poop! WARNING - Doing this also produces an increase in hate mail.

6 RepliesI thought about doing this when the game first came out. Mainly in crucible where get rewards most of the time. Just have your character run, jump, and shoot so you dont get timed out. But that would be a jerk move for other players. It would basically look like you suck at crucible.

6 RepliesI would love to see 3 people who are doing this get teamed together for a roc strike. Just imagine when they get home and see they have been in the nexus strike for 7 hours walking into a wall with the other 2 people on their team.
