To anyone saying center is the easiest way on normal... You have to be as dumb as a box of rocks.

Really? Are you on crack! It is really easy. Super easy. Maybe you don't do it right. I'll provide instructions. 1. Kill all adds in crystal room. 2. Pro tip: always leave the room as a group and huddle in the center. (We go from the left to center) 3. Swordbearer stands on one of the pillars in the center. (boomers will not hit him). 4. Everyone else gather in the center in front of the window. 5. Take out swordbearer with EXTREME PREJUDICE! (Ideally you want him down inside of 10 seconds from when he appears, to ensure 2 sword runs) 6. Bladedancer, sword bearer grabs sword, and goes to the right side smaller rock. 7. Crouch and go invisible. 8. Call out to take crota down. (Fireteam all fire 1 rocket each with tracking at crota.... he drops) 9. Swordbearer is there with following combo. (RB, RB, RT, RT, RT..... Thats not my full combo but it works none the less for 56k damage) 10. IMPORTANT!! Drop the sword and blink strike Crota and then pick up the sword again. 11. Drop crota again and do the following combo. (RB, RB, RT, RB, RT, RB, RT.....70k damage) then RUN LIKE HELL to either ogre room. 12. Crota will move to the right. TEAM moves to the left and huddles the left window. Sword Runner goes invisible and runs into the crystal room to watch crota. 13. Crota moves back to center. IMMEDIATELY take down swordbearer. ( he should be on the ground as the sword runner is literally sprinting out of the room. 14. Go invisible, call out to drop crota. Combo (RB, RB, RT, RT, RT 56K damage). 56+70+56=182k. Crota normal is 180k .... He is toast. And you don't ever have to hit boomers and you don't ever have to deal with Ogres. ProTip: If you want to avoid boomers, then stand directly BEHIND crota when whipping him! The will be looking at you, but can't hit you. This can not be easier as long as your fireteam can stay alive.

Pretty sure I don't need instructions from someone with 1/3 of the completions that I have. I have ran sword on all but 4-5 of my runs. I still stand by the fact that the only reason to ever take anyone center strat on normal mode is because your fire team is absolutely garbage. That's why we 2 man him every week, it's easier than running a 6 man squad with incompetent assholes.

So you think it's easier to be shot by and have to shoot boomers than to just ignore them completely?

If you don't have a person on your team capable of killing this Knights then your prolly gonna have issues even in the center unless you go bottom mid rather than the ledge. If you ignore them, then you leave your sword bearer hanging.

Nobody needs instructions from someone with only 60 crota kills either.

Your two arguments are: 1. It takes too long to kill the sword bearer from the center. 2. You leave your sword bearer hanging. My solution: 1. Person running the sword downs the sword bearer himself in 2 rockets. 2. No solution because this isn't a problem. I've never been killed by boomers in normal running sword aside from running solo.

Edit: and by what your saying, I might as well just solo it instead of having 5 people standing on a ledge just to take Crota down.

With the center strategy it doesn't matter if you're capable of following instructions. There is no danger therfore no reason to have instructions. And by all means if you need the drop then yes I recommend soloing it but if you're helping others who are new or have struggled to complete it than center is the easiest.
