Create a mobile Hotspot with cell phone and connect. Re download . It should work. Did for me. Does every time

A mobile hotspot is a better connection than your wired ISP? Maybe you shouldn't be playing games that require real time action.

Dude its because bungie has an internal bug. I have a wired connection my shit is fine. And this still happens. I was told of this solus so I did it and it worked.

How does the game perform on your real ISP? Are you seeing error codes often? Are you seeing all red bar lobbies in PvP? I'm just curious how an unstable cell phone connection can be better for anything.

Dude have you not even read the conversation? It's only a solution to the 76.87 random updaye that always leads to wasp error. And I don't play pvp it's lame. I only play pve. And after I use the mobile Hotspot to get past the 76.87 I plug the cable back in and play destiny and everything is fine as rain.

I've read that WASP errors come from incomplete data. Hotspots are generally incomplete data machines. I'm glad it works for you, game on. Glad I didn't buy an Xbox.

It's an error on bungies side. The problem lies with the update 76.87 that doesn't update anything that happens at random times for no reason. If that can stop then no problem would exist. I know I'm not the only one the cell phone trick worked for and I'm not the only one who sees this random bs update

I'll try that one tonight when I get home but how can a hotspot off your phone work better then hard connection to your modem? Bungie severs do my head in!! Stopped playing last year because of it!!!

It's just a bug on their side. That 76.87 unnecessary and random update that leads to wasp error or whatever, disconnect from your modem or wifi. (If you have wifi then try hard connection first) then connect to your mobile Hotspot and try playing destiny again. It should download no problem and then if it happens again just do it again. Granted we shouldn't have to at all.

Yeah thanks mate, I tried just about everything last night except hotspot off my phone. I guess I'll see what happens tonight when muck around with it.
