I play with a Warlock and a Hunter mostly, and I generally stay out of PvP except for Iron Banner or exotic bounties, so I'm mostly just playing the devil's advocate here, but...
Has anyone ever considered that maybe the players that choose Hunter are just better players? Like if they all chose Titans instead then Titans would be statistically the best class?

If people researched what class people liked the most they would ultimately choose hunter or Titan depending upon their play style. I have one of each but I enjoy hunter more and I don't consider myself to be a better player because I chose hunter first. I don't know why a first time player would choose warlock for any reason other than they thought the supers looked cool

My first was a warlock and still is my favorite. Explosions everywhere with Nova Bomb and bloom which also activates Surge to speed up movement and reload. My Hunter on the other hand is pvp. With either subclass giving me 2 or 3 kills per super use at least. It is OP. No question. To kill multiple people with FoH or NB you need people stacked. Not even remotely true for GG or Arcblade. Active and be the terminator for almost half a minute.

Ironically after I wrote this post i created a warlock and now believe that warlocks are only slightly worse than hunters and that titans are horrible at everything

That is highly unlikely.

Yeah, I know. I was just trying to stir up trouble without using the usual inciters like "master race" and "scrub", etc.
