I thought fate of all fools was for that kid who had a terminal disease. Bungie made the gun for the person specifically.

Actually, it was for a guy who went through multiple brain surgeries and was prescribed destiny as a way of therapy, then his wife emailed bungee and they gave him a date of all fools in a postmaster package. If you didn't know, fate of all fools was meant to be released during the trials of Osiris as an exotic bounty. Bungie did a good thing, the kid made a mistake but I don't think he should be given a fate of all fools, just reset his account and whatnot.
