Grimoire Score mainly dead ghosts??
So I just went through my grimoires on destinytracker.com and noticed that if I had all dead ghosts my grimoire score would be way higher.
So mine is currently 2250, but if I had all dead ghosts it would be 2585.
I have 25 out of 68 dead ghosts, which is average I guess.
Just came to realise that dead ghosts make much more of a difference in grimoire than I expected... Usually in PvP I rate my oponents by their grimoire, but now I know that they just discovered destinyghosthunter.net ...
Just wanted to share this, as I wasn't aware of this.
EDIT: Please don't mark me on that 90% guys, of course I'm aware that dead ghosts aren't 90% of the total score...
EDIT2: I edited the actual post with the 90% as this was misleading.
EDIT3: I collected 30 ghosts within 1 and a half hours and my grimoire went up to 2600. 20 to 30 of the Grimoire points I got was weapons and enemies but everything else dead ghosts.

my grimoire will go up alot when i start doing crucible, hopefully they fix their mexican laggy servers so it becomes tolerable

I know this is a little bit of a necrobump but does anyone know how many grimoire points the ghosts are worth overall? Some are worth more than 5 so I'm just curious if there's a stat out there without me pulling out my abacus.

Mine would be around 2400 without ghosts That's better than a noob who is 2100 with ghosts

For example, you're missing shotgun kills, pulse rifle kills, scouts rifle kills, fusion rifle kills, ogre kills, hydra kills, salvage wins, skirmish wins, clash wins, raid completions, strikes etc.

2 RepliesGhosts give you around 300 out of 2850 or so. Not a majority, just over 10%. The thing is you only get them if you intentionally look for them, this results in differences in Grimoire between people who have the same score otherwise. A majority overall? No. Majority of the difference for people between 2200-2600? Probably not a majority but much closer.

Also when I put all of my grimoire together I get 2620 grimoire when I really have 2650 and not to mension that killing hunter rank 2 in the cruicible glitched out for me so... I dont know if I got that grimoire or not

3 RepliesGhosts are only a small part of Grimmoire, but the score doesn't necessarily reflect skill. The score basically represents unlocked bonuses and the higher score means that income/resource bonuses are higher for that player. Makes a difference when using black wax or polyphage because you pull more glimmer out of certain vex/hive enemies than a player that has not achieved that bonus. Resources also drop more per chest and during resource "harvest" per planet. High scores mean you've been on for while and killed alot of stuff with different weapons.

once u get all dead ghosts there is yet another way to decipher skill grimoire from dead ghost grimoire. You know will understand the low scores from having all dead ghosts and the high scores that can only be achieved by having much more than only dead ghosts. I say it's past 2650, what do you think?

All dead ghosts will give you 340 points out of a max of about 2800 so nowhere near 90%

It's only about 10%. I did it because I had everything capped for the week and like to 100% the Achievements in a game. It just shows how much diversity you play with. Not skill or e-peen size.

1 ReplyLol @ 90%. Dead ghosts are hardly all that make up your grimoire score. I wouldn't base somebody's skill in PVP on it either. There's 5 playlists in PVP that give you grimoire. Control, Clash, Rumble, Skirmish, Salvage. Each one only gives you 15 grimoire total based on your win total in each playlist. So you can pretty much get carried to get those wins except for in Rumble.
