Crota Hard Mode-Hunger of Crota
For few weeks I have seen people asking only people with gjallarhorn to join their raid group for Crota Hard Mode. What about people having fully maxed out Hunger of Crota or The Cure or One way ticket aren't good enough for Hard Mode. I agree that you need to take down Crota really fast and gjallarhorn does that in the best way possible. Having said that aren't other legendary Rocket launchers good enough to do the same? As the raid is group activity so if everyone or most have maxed out rocket launchers won't that to work? What you think? Why?

i just ask that they have a 331 fully maxed tracking rocket. i have gjally, hoc, and truth all at 331. I usually make sure there are at least 2 maxed gjallys before i accept other types. It makes up for margins of error when playing with random people

3/5 fireteams i play with have 3 or more ghorns. Lets just say we seem to beat it easier when we dont have those 32 dbags who rely solely on ghorn. I just got one. Trying to upgrade. But regardless i will gladly take anyone without it.

2 RepliesIts true that most will only accept those players with Gjallarhorn, unless they are acting as a sword bearer in which case there is no need, but that's because players are looking for the most reliable way to get the raid beaten. If you've spent much time in the Crota's End raid on hard mode, you will know that its one of the most hateful things to do in the game. Of all the times i've been in the raid on hard mode, i have only had the desire to see it through to the end once. The reason being is because the damn thing is so full of glitches and bugs that at least 75% of my deaths in it have come about from those bugs and glitches. I could list everything i have seen wipe a team out on all stages of the raid but it would be an extensive list that, quite frankly, i can't be bothered with. My advice. Stick to normal mode. Its not quite as infuriating as hard mode but its at least a bit more tolerable.

I understand that's why when I get hired as a mercenary I just say you have a rocket launcher with tracking? Yea? Okay cool. Your a level 30? That's cool too just don't die. So now we dance with crota. And we usually beat him if the group listens to me. I have gally and I use it when I don't run sword but I for sure as hell don't make it a requirement for my raid groups when I run sword. I'm on Xbox one if you need help good sir. Gt: MostMovie 47

Personally I only ask for someone to have a rocket that tracks enemy's in my raids

I've done the raid a ton of times now only using a truth.. I've killed crota a ton of times with this rocket launcher, it may not be a ghorn but it still hits like a truck and drops him quick enough
