Burn only happens when the screens brightness level or contrast is too high. And even then it only happens when your on one screen too long. And you can only tell its burned in when your on a dark screen.

Your right. My tv has evened out more by not playing destiny. It's image retention. It's just hard as hell to get rid of. And I did calibrate my Tv since and it has made a difference.

Plasma tvs aren't good to game on tho. It does shorten the lifespan
