is it possible to get 6 Sword Slams on Crota Hard?
Ok so my friend swore up and down that his friend got 6 sword slams on Crota. No supers or nothing. I thought the max was 5.
What do you guys think?
EDIT: im talking about 6 hits per Kneel. NOT Swordbearer.

3 RepliesFive is absolutely as close as it could ever be. There is so unbelievably little margin for error with five swings. If you need proof of that, watch the timing in a Crota hard mode solo video and you'll see four swings and a slash - five swings is unrealistic to get right every time even when you know [i]exactly[/i] when Crota will go down. The timing isn't any different with a team, so no, six is not possible.

5 slams is the max. If somebody gets any more than that it was because there was lag or something that kept crota down longer. Source: I've killed crota as swordbearer A LOT

It's possible...... But you'd have to make sure the first hit lands on Crota literally at the same moment his shield teaches 0% and quickly land all the subsequent hits by shifting. You'd also have to risk taking that last hit right as he gets up. Most I've done is 5 and it was cutting it close

I somehow managed to get 11 hits on him with the first sword the other night and killed him in 2 swords. I only hit him 7 times on the second sword so yes 6 is possible just lucky.

I max out at 5 slams each kneel. One being a super.

You would have no time to get back down. Crota would have to be feeling generous to not hit you with the sword. 6 is a bit overkill anyway.

6 RepliesYou have to be ready to hit crota right as his shield goes down, sometimes even requires the sword bearer to be the hit that takes down his shield. Tbh, you can get around 7 maybe 8 slams on Hard crota if your timing is just perfect and maybe even a super hit if you down him a third time in one sword.

I'm pretty sure he's vulnerable for exactly 5 seconds, and each swing takes almost exactly a second.

No. I run sword all the time. Not possible unless you've got a bunch of Titan orbs generated on Crota's platform pre-fight and are doing smash/super/smash/super. Even then 5 hits is about all you're gonna get.

most and best run i have ever seen was 4 and it was flawless. cant see even a 5 slam

I had someone say if you keep shooting at him when he's on his knee he stays down for longer Safe to say I kicked him out of the party
