Should not give the revived or the one doing the reviving an over-shield, nor should it give 50 points towards end game score. The advantage of reviving should simply be having more teammates and firepower at your disposal in a given area should someone get downed. The current system essentially rewards deaths and encourages brainless strategy (like running into the open when a teammate was just sniped or killed by a rocket for the sake of an OS and half the points of getting a kill for doing absolutely nothing).
It's so -blam!-ing frustrating killing 2 of 3 enemies just to have them all get revived and bum rush you because they all have over-shield and you then can't do shit about it.
Also, losing a skirmish game with 7 more kills than the other team thanks to them having a good 10+ revives makes sense.
