I'm sick and tired of red bars plaguing almost every single match in the Crucible. And yet Bungie FAIL to acknowledge the issue, let alone tell us about any efforts they may be making to address it. At this stage it's unacceptable.
Halo had great netcode compared to Destiny. So what's happened?
And no: it isn't my connection's fault.

4 RepliesI have had zero problems. I've gotten maybe 10 errors since launch of destiny. You must be doing something wrong. Have you checked your internet connection lololol.
-
If they acknowledge it that means they can't just blame or connection, and they'd have to do actual work. Seems they're against that

Bump. Tonight was horrible, so many -blam!-ing red bars. I've done everything in this game so much that PvP is the only reason I log on. If they don't start matchmaking by region, I see no option but to find something else.

There's only 1 Destiny server at Bungie, it's maintained & monitored by interns.

1 ReplyIt is very possible it is your connection. Bandwidth is a factor, so make sure when you play not a lot of devices in your home are connected to the internet. It could be your consoles connection to your router, if so make sure to reset your console and make sure it works. If it isn't solved, unplug the router for 30 seconds and try connecting the console. It could also be your internet service provider. The bigger the provider, the greater the possibility that they are experiencing issues with their own servers, which gives you problems. I know a lot of these things from past experience. I hardly ever find bungies servers go down, as much as it is usually my internet to blame. I have a good provider, but things do happen. Thanks in advance! If none of the methods proposed work then I'd reach to Google to see if there are any extra methods to help

2 RepliesTotally agree, may be just coincidental but since the weapons patch it's even worse, for me anyway, sick of getting the drop on guys, could be 2secs before he starts shooting back, I die, he runs off, I then see his health bar deteriorate and I get a postmortem, shoulder charge followed by a storm fist, nothing, one blink strike from him, i'm dead, postmortem, hard to enjoy a game when it lags as bad as that.
Halo had great netcode compared to Destiny. So what's happened?
No Microsoft providing oversight :( Its obvious bungie needed Microsoft far more than they needed bungie. Even on the the "small" points of release management, testing and version control ... examples like; "We are aware of the patch still saying 1.0.3 on the Title screen" and this on the 1.1 patch notes ... how do obvious points like this slip through, and worse still how is the embarrassment alone not enough to inspire a correction ??

3 RepliesThe whole game seems to be laggy since the patch. Getting annoying.

Agree Lagging..
100%
-
I cannot disagree. I am a FPS player and stats are a major part of my enjoyment. The PVP lag is so bad that it is impossible to be consistent in turn makes raising your or my kd ratio a true pain. When COD has less lag then Destiny has real problems that can and if not fixed will show in the next game sales. I will not purchase the next game of they don't fix this.

bump, bump, bump. Im sick of dying to people I killed, but they die 3 sec later then they should due to the shitty connection. Bungie stop patching glitches and fix the damn pvp it a joke/
