Missing what I'm pointing out entirely.
Kirmit has done this before, once in Dec 2014 and now.
Which one got more responses quicker? Which one was "special" (somehow different) to the other aka made Bungie change their wording up a bit?

Yes and that's why I'm bothered by this. They've told people that were placing items in the vault and ended up kicked with an error code/gotten Connecting to Destiny Servers, that they "couldn't" restore that item. They've told people that they "couldn't" restore characters gone missing after a server issue or error code. They've told people that were actually hacked they "couldn't" do that. They've told another affected by the same user they "couldn't" restore her Ghorn. Yet they publicly acknowledge and change it to "could restore characters" to a kid because they recorded the whole thing and posted it with crying included?
