Why are we in Russian "Cosmodrome"?
Russia hasn't even been to space? The only people in Space are China, India, and the USA? Its not like Russia would ever advance further than us? Why would the Traveler go to Russia instead of America?

In one of the first missions your ghost explains that the cosmodrome was used for shipping out spacecrafts full of people to colonize space. So obviously in the games version of earth's history, Russia plays a crucial role in the attempted survival of the human race. Easy peasy
