MIDA multi- tool sucks
I think it does cuz a fully upgraded MIDA takes 4 head shots to kill, and my legendary scout rifle takes 3 head shots. [The Satteriene Rapier]

Mida is amazing. It may take 4 shots instead of three, but it can fire six in the time it takes you to fire 3. The fire rate is incredibly high, impact is decent, reload and range are good. It has a nice scope, as well as the radar perk. And the best thing is your movement speed.

It's not really that useful for anything else. There are just better guns out there. Edit: just saw the agility boost comments. I'll give it a try in the Crota pits.

They are two different guns, with different stats. I fail to see your problem, or why you brought up the rapier at all.

Sucks? I use it in pve and once i finished upgrading i will use it in pvp on certain maps as well. Its a very good scout, just needs elemental damage for perfection

Mida is decent as it stands, it'd be pretty amazing if it had autofire. It fires fast enough, it just gets annoying needing to spam press the button and auto fire would be easier on my controller. Still one of my favourite exotics though, it's an all around good gun.

Nah dude mida is one of the best primaries out there as a hunter that speed is awesome along with the range stability and reload coupled with chain of woe and gunslingers trance it makes it my favorite weapon

One of the most useful primary Exotics. Got one on each character, that speed boost is awesome.

It reloads fast, has a 27 mag size with field scout, is fairly consistent with getting headshots over mid range, has the third eye perk which is great for pvp, maybe not b line trauma fast but it fires pretty quickly, and most importantly you can get to objective points in control so much quicker with it because of how fast you move with the damn thing. (<--- From a hunter's perspective). Seriously test it out. Equip your special weapon and run around for a couple seconds, and then equip the multi tool and run around. There's a huge difference in speed, and you can also put +2 agility on the multi tool as well. I like it personally.

I haven't used it too much, but man is it accurate with head shots, and they all seem to stagger enemies too. It's nice.
