9 RepliesIt's not the time or gear that separates Christmas noobs from veterans. A Christmas noob will always be a Christmas noob because they will never experience some of destiny's best and worst moments. They will never experience the lines of guardians lining up to shoot a cave for hours in hopes finding a piece of gear that would get them past the level 24 wall. They'll never know the disappointment of having their legendary engrams decrypt into blue level gear. They'll never know the excitement and challenge of exploring the unspoiled vault of glass. They'll never know frustration of reaching the level cap when it was only 30. They'll never know terror that is Randall the vandal. They weren't here for the nerfs, buffs, patches, and hot fixes constantly turning the community on its head. They'll never be able to tell you the routes to farm spin-metal, spirit bloom, relic iron, or helium filaments. They will always be Christmas noobs, but that's okay because as time goes on they'll have their own experiences that constantly set them apart from the others who pick this game up after them.

If they are 31 or higher, they're no longer a noob imo

Edited by Sivatrix: 2/23/2015 3:12:11 AMThey day you tell people to stop calling you a Christmas noob.
-
When they stop posting question that ask when they'll stop being called Christmas noobs.
-
You will stop being an Xmas NOOB when we either all just leave this game or become day one players of destiny 2. There is no way to hanged what day you were officially dated with no life and sucked into this game wether it was alpha beta or Xmas we will all have the title of what day we joined
-
In my opinion you guys stopped being Christmas noobs when the day one idiots started posting "I'm a day one idiot and I'm leaving because..." I'd rather raid with Christmas noobs then those guys any day. (We all know they're still on the forums and playing destiny).
-
Christmas noobs stop being Christmas noobs when they are no longer Christmas noobs! Capiche?
-
As soon as you have made it through VOG in one sitting with the same team all the way you are no longer a noob in my opinion
-
When they have a 2500+ grim score, have down both raids on hard, and don't ask stupid questions....
